Great location if you enjoy the outdoors and hiking, kayaking, boating. Bring your camera. The beach was closed during our visit. The upper campsite where we stayed is next to the entry gate and supports big rigs with back-in lots. It is open with a few palm trees. The well manicured sites are level pea gravel with FHU 50 Amp and clean facilities. The lower campground is about four miles away near the lake and consists of smaller, wooded, grass lots for tents and small trailers, although we did see some Class C's down there. We look forward to our next visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice state park. Well maintained. Good camp store, bike trails, and staff. Wish we had a couple more days to spend. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice clean bathrooms. No laundry. This park has two areas. The top one is by the highway and seems more suited to bigger rigs. The river campground is the nicer of the two areas. You can ride to the little store for wifi and the setting is very nice. We would return again if through the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
