Rate based on a weekly rate. Park is right on the Banana River. There is a smell, but there's also a smell at Manatee Hammock and Patrick AFB. Must be the area. The park is big. There are fishing piers at the water-side sites, and a large fishing pier for the other campers. They have a nice boat ramp and boat slips, and 2 canoe launches. No sewer or cable. You can see the cruise ships docked at Port Canaveral. Birds, seagulls, pelicans, dolphins, manatees, alligators, turtles, are some of the wildlife we have seen. We will camp here again. There's a lot to do and see in the area including Kennedy Space Center, Port and Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Village and Beach, Titusville all of which are less than a 30 minute drive. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is now available to retired military, so we decided to try it out for 3 nights. There are sites along the river with a very nice view, but we noticed an odor of stagnant water, so we went a bit farther down the road and parked out in the fields. They do not assign the spots, you drive around and pick your own. There is a large grassy field with hook ups in different areas. We just happened to get one with 50 amps, the ones along the river are 30 amp, and the charge is $20 for the view. We had a nice view from our site and no odor, for $15. There were only about 40 campers here all spread out in a very large area. It was very quiet and we saw 30 manatees around the boat docks. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
