We stayed just overnight. Campground is very convenient to 1-75, and we were not bothered by the noise at all. Pleasant owners. Site, up front, was an easy pull-through, grassy and level. Park is old, but well-maintained. Restrooms were dated, but clean and roomy. Good cable and wi-fi connections. We were charged a $3 "park fee." We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. Would use again, not for long-term, but good spot for going through, or visiting the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park,restrooms and laundry werecl ean and in good condition. Wifi worked well as did the cable tv. The management just added on an addition to the park.Only downfall to this addition was you could not receive wii and cable tv in that area,it seems they don't have the money or the equipment to add wiring for the wifi or cable tv. Another problem with the park was the fact they only had one trash dumpster for the whole park and it fills up over the top and trash falls on the ground. There lots of locals there that were pretty friendly. The park owners seemed ok,but did not like to chat with you only to say hi. If in the area we would stay again, but ask for a space away from the sign shop right in the park backyard. Some nights they worked late and there was lots of noise when the workers there threw out there work trash. One thing that would make the park better would be a poo. It gets very hot in Florida in the summer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had easy access to the park and our site with our large 5th wheel trailer and truck. Pull throughs seemed plentiful for overnight stays. I-75 was visible but noise was minimal. The seasonal sites had the shade. The restroom, though dated, was very clean and pleasant. The cable TV reception could have been clearer but it was adequate. We would stop here again for a Lake City stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the Good Sam rate. Rather narrow pull-through sites. Sandy ground around motorhome. We stayed here only for one night. OK for the price, but there is nothing to charm one to stay longer. A good overnight stop on the road south. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an OK park for an overnight. There are lots of permanent people who do not like the overnighters. Sites are very tight and with all the extra cars and trucks from the permanent people, I had a very hard time getting into the site. The dog that was tied up in office, guess it belongs to the owner, nearly tore my wife’s leg off. Guy behind the counter thought it was funny. If we weren’t so tired, would have left right there. There is lots of traffic noise as there is a Freightliner place right behind the park. I did not get very much sleep. I will not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park isn't much to look at, but looks can be deceiving. It's quiet, clean and affordable. The $24 overnight rate was after the Good Sam discount and taxes. The site I was on (not sure any of them are numbered) was dirt and sand. 50/30/20 electric at the pedestal as well as cable TV (about 60-channels) and water. Many of the sites are shaded, but I also saw units in an open area that had no shade. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Wi-Fi is no additional charge and was more than strong enough to be able to use it inside my motor home without the need for an external Wi-Fi adapter. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here overnight coming back from a 3 month trip with a lot of boondocking. It was far enough from the Expressway to stop the noise. WiFi was free and strong but kept cutting out. Last stop before going home so we back-flushed a long while. Bath and showers nice. Not much at exit, but one exit north has lots of stuff. If you use Next Exit book, there is a mistake in the order of exits so be careful. We would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Due to its location, it is a very good campground for a one night stopover. They gave us a pull-thru site and cable and Wi-Fi were included. They are in the process of expanding the campground so that they will be able to accommodate additional seasonal residents. It seems that as the seasonal prices for campgrounds continue to escalate in central and south Florida, more people are choosing this area because it is more affordable. This campground would be a good choice in that respect. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have stayed at this park many times. The owners are always friendly and helpful. They have many activities such as Bingo, pot luck dinners and dances with intertainment. I would suggest that any one traveling through Lake City, Fl.should stay here. The sites are large and the park is very neat. The seasonal campers are also friendly and helpful. Nice Campground, most overnight campers go on nice open field, no problems with trees or maneuvering big rigs around. They show you to site, propane for sale by office, no electrical problems, has mailbox area for seasonal campers, close to pizza and ice cream store on busy exit. Some sites are close to busy road where big trucks go to service shop all night. Other than that noise, quiet sites in entrance area and in far back. Lots of seasonal campers. Nice little store, next exit is to Mall area. Great location, wonderful employees, has entertainment on certain holidays, and wonderful meals in rec room, around christmas time. No recreation for children, has weight room and laundry. Wifi is great in certain areas. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

As mentioned in other reviews, this is a great place for an overnight stop, being close enough to I-75, but out of earshot of the freeway noise. We found an inconsistency between the rate advertised on their website and what they charged us, and their wi-fi service was not as good as they told us it would be. But the park was pleasantly shaded with lots of trees. (Actually, when we were there the trees were dropping acorns that hit the top of our rig and sounded like baseballs!) We used their laundry, which was small but adequate. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 3 days with a rally. Overall good experience. No pads or picnic table, but power was ok (Stayed around 110 to 115). Water pressure was good. Biggest drawback was the sewer. They do not have a pumping station. They are on old fashion gravity fed sewer. Was full when we attempted to dump. Overall, good overnighter and for small groups... We camped here in a Motorhome.

A good place to rest one or two nights before moving on. Nice laundry and some small shops within walking distance but for stocking up with groceries or any other serious shopping one must drive a the interstate a couple of miles north. Owners are very friendly and accommodating and I would stay overnight again when passing through. Nice grassy spots and the manager spots the campers so as to provide as much separation and possible. Quite place the few nights I stayed there. Close to the Interstate but noise level is negligible. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is primarily a 55+ winter time snowbird campground. It is a fine park, however, for a stopover. It is safe, quiet, and clean with lots of nice space for a walk. The bathrooms were very clean, but dated. With only one shower, two toilets, and two sinks (one for the guys), it was good that there were only a few overnighters. Definitely use this park while traveling through on I-75. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is best for overnight stops or a short visit. Attractive and well maintained. Dirt roads which are dusty. It is a short distance off I-75 but noise is minimal. There are quite a number of permanents, but for the most part the permanent sites are well kept. Has an exercise room with several pieces of equipment. Did not see a playground area for children. The only thing I did not like is that the sites are very narrow. It was not full while we were there, and they were parking folks on every other site so we were not so tight. They have both open sites and sites with shade trees. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We used "Coast to Coast Good Neighbor" to get our $13 rate. It was a good place for a 1 night stopover and they provided us a pull-thru site so we did not even have to unhook. However, since it is very close to I-75, it was very noisy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a family owned campground. The campground, the restrooms/showers and laundry room are kept in immaculate condition. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to help you if you encounter a problem. The campground has occasional entertainment in their recreational hall, which we were fortunate enough to be able to participate in. The singer was great! They have a super bowl dinner/party on Super Bowl Sunday with wide screen TV viewing of the game. We understand, from some of the seasonal tenants, that the owners also provide outstanding Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, which they have entirely prepared themselves, for all who are in the park on those two holidays. The seasonal tenants also praise the owners for the outstanding fall and Christmas holiday decorations throughout the park. I would wholeheartedly recommend this park to anyone. To add to my review, it is very easy to access the park from the interstate. You do not have to drive miles out of your way to have a place to sleep for the night. We were so impressed with the park, we stayed longer than we had intended to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is located less than a mile from a Freightliner repair center and has big rigs running up and down the road all times of the day and night, which was very noisy and the big rigs would cause our trailer to vibrate. The owners are very friendly when sober, but proved to be irate when drunk (which was the majority of the time). Most campground occupants have been there for years and one occupant runs a big rig detailing business at his trailer, which blocks traffic in and out of the park and adds to the noise level. We will not stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A small Ma & Pa campground just off I-75 at Lake City. Staff was very friendly. Most occupants have been there for years and their RV's show it. It seems as if they turned the back yard into RV spaces for people just stopping for the night. Despite being old, the park seemed clean, grass cut etc. Can't beat the price. No ammenities just a place to stop for the night. On our visit most of the people in our section were staying there for the Florida - Florida state game in Gainesville. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park wasn't maintained in any manner whatsoever. The various office managers do not have the necessary skills to deal with customers. The hygiene conditions of their restrooms were deplorable! I could not use the bathroom since it was so nasty and dirty. It appeared as if they hadn't cleaned the washrooms for months! No toilet paper, no hand towels, broken sinks, only one sink in ladies room which was plugged up and disgusting. I complained to the Management and was told that they had annual people that lived there that messed up the campground and that is why it was in the condition it was at the time. This was our second time in two years of staying at this park. The second visit was by accident only. When I registered I told them if the bathrooms were deplorable that I wanted my money back. I was assured that the bathrooms were clean. That is such an understatement. The bathrooms were worse than most out-houses! Disgusting!!! We will never stay here again and have notified Good Sam's not to misrepresent this location in the future with their approval. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We used AAA Auto Discount. Rear of the park is a lot nicer than the front. Long term residents' sites look like something out of the Beverly Hillbilly's, before they struck oil! Pay station was rather dirty, but we were escorted to our site as it was late night, which was nice. This was a pleasant overnight stay, with no problems. It is located close to the highway, so a perfect place to stop and get in quick with no problems. It is a little bit on the "red neck" side, but we would stay again if traveling through. We probably wouldn't stay long term though. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The front of this park is residential with everything from Airstreams to tents. However, the back of the park opens up to paved roads with 50 amp full hookups and grass pull-throughs. We would stay there again but will probably choose another park in the area next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stopped here overnight. Several restaurants are in walking distance and Walmart is about 1/2 mile down the street. We were assigned a site where the electrical hookup did not work so we were reassigned. Another camper was already there. We called the office and they gave us another site - another camper was already at that site as well. We finally just found our own site and let them know the number. Office was rather unorganized. There were some run down RV's in the park with grass grown up around them - apparenly long term residents. The bathrooms and laundry room were not clean. The front portion of the park was not very inviting but the back portion where the satellite sites were was neat and well kept. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stopped here for a quick overnight stay because we wanted cable TV and pull through so we wouldn't have to unhook our tow vehicle. There is NO cable TV in the rear sites. The advertising is very misleading in Woodalls and the owner did not make us aware of this. They provided a refund upon request. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park was clean and easy to get in site. In the rear we stayed in site 78 on a corner. In a 45' rig it was difficult to make the turn into the site as they had recommended the way to turn in. Going a different way we were in easily. The mall and plenty of restaurants were practically across the street. Great for an overnight stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Warning.....In the park brochure they advertise that they have the internet(wifi)which is not true,they are bouncing off other business internet in the area, and to receive it you have to up close near it. Also they say that all sites are full hookup, but in the back spaces you cannot receive cable, and they charge the same price for them. Also the bathrooms are fithy and have been painted over but never washed down. There are a few people there that live in make shift tents that are nothing but plastic and there is one man in one of the tents that walks around in his black color underwear which shows everything; not a good thing for young children or women to see or be around and nothing is done about this. Also the laundry is also rundown only two washing machines and 2 dryers if one or both break downs he say there is nothing he can do. So if you decide to stay there, youv'e been warned. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Called to make a reservation for a pull thru site with cable tv. Offered to "hold" the site with a credit card and was told it was not necessary because they had plenty of sites available. Arrived at the Park, checked in and went to the site. Site was wet, muddy, uneven with ruts and NO cable tv. Called the office and was told all the cable sites were rented. Asked for a refund and was refused. WILL NOT stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park 2 years ago and it was in much better condition back then. The park is fine for a quick overnight stay. There are a number of full time trailers and a few make-shift tents on the property. The bathrooms are terribly dirty and most of the sinks and stalls were inoperable. In the back of the park where they send most of the overnighters, a 4 foot fence separates the park from a colony of homeless people. We will find another place to stay in Lake City when we return. SOME OF THE TOILETS HAD HUMAN WASTE ON THE WALLS AND STILL DOES. ADVERTISES THAT THEY HAVE WIFI AND HE DOESN'T HAVE THAT AT ALL AND HE USES HIS BROTHER'S INTERNET AT HIS MOTEL THAT YOU CANNOT RECEIVE IN THE PARK, YOU HIT AND MISS YOU HAVE TOO HAVE A BOOSTER SYSTEM TO RECEIVE THE INTERNET. AND ON THE WEEKENDS YOU HAVE TO PUT UP WITH HIS NOISE FROM ALL HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS PLAYING GAMES IN THE FIELD NEXT DOOR FROM EARLY AFTERNOON UNTIL EVENING, BUT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE ANY NOISE, EXAMPLE: NO MUSIC.......... TAKE IT FROM EXPERIENCE THE PARKS NAME IS IN AND OUT AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WILL BE ..DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY...MONTHLY SPOTS ARE NOT WORTH $430.55 IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE OVER NIGHT YOU ARE BETTER OFF STAYING IN WALMART PARKING LOT OVERNIGHT WHICH IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. PS..THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE PARK IS 5MPH THAT IS FOR VISTORS..THE MANAGER DOES AT LEAST 40-50MPH AND THERE ARE CHILDREN IN THE PARK. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Only used it for a over night stop but would not stay there if I was spending time in the area. There were a lot of residents there with some of them living in tents with blue tarps stretched out. Person next to us, resident, did not pick up after their dog so had to be careful where I stepped. It is located behind a gas station which makes it Helpful if you are needing fuel and a place to stay for the night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very basic campground that is very close to the interstate, but without the interstate noise. It's located behind a convenience store/gas station and the owners are on the property. Interior roads are paved, but the sites are grass and dirt, and many seemed to be quite rutted making it somewhat hard to get level. There are small trees in the front half of the place, but no real shade. There were a lot of RV's coming and going each of the 6 days we spent there, but the entire front of the campground was full most of the time. As soon as someone left, someone else would come in to take their place. It's also right in the middle of a shopping strip district. Lots of commercialization with stores, chain restaurants, etc. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A very nice stop over park near I-75 . Very convenient to shopping (Wal-Mart Supercenter a block away, shopping mall two blocks.) A bargain for snowbirds. We camped here in a camper.

Lake City Campground is 1 mile north of I-10 at Hwy 441 about 63 miles from Jacksonville. The Office is only open from 4-7PM and check in is at the same time. The place has a pool, playground and 2 ponds. The restrooms and spotless and the store/office has about anything you might want. You are about 4 miles from downtown Lake City that has a lot of small shops and eating places. I would stay there again if I am in Lake City area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is no longer a KOA. This was our third trip to this campground. The sites are paved and level. The electric hookup is great. Water pressure a little low. This park is very clean and well ran. The pool is sparkling clean. The staff are very friendly. This campground is about a mile off of I-10. No road noise! My wife nor I can really think of anything bad to say about this location. We will be back... We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean, well organized..hosts very friendly...sites are somewhat close together and the spot I was assigned gave me a choice, open the awning or open the slide (depending on position in the spot relative the trees)..but since I was only there overnight, this is not seen as a problem...away from the interstate enough not to pick up the sounds of the traffic but close enough to be convenient. Located in a run-down area. Autos "drag racing" and owner's dogs barking late into the night kept us awake after a long day on the road. Many long term units and lots of people sitting around. Not a secure feeling. Campground staff very abrupt and not at all friendly. Would not stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Easy to find one mile off the highway. For overnight stay they had very long pull-thru sites. We felt that these sites were to close to the long term sites. The WiFi was a bit of a hassel with alot of instructions to log on and a fee of $3.00 a day. No shaded sites and seem to be a bit remote. We just did not have a good secure feeling there. A quiet and off-the-beaten-track campground. Since the last review they have a free wi-fi connection. The owners were pleasant and helpful and the half price Passport America fee (for 3 nights in the winter season)was hard to beat. They are new owners and have plans for a pool and game room in the future. We would recommend it if you like peace and quiet but not far from the interstate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on our way west. It is a very nice and clean RV park. The Passport America rate makes this a very good bargain!! The sites were a little narrow in the area we stayed in, but they had each rig placed on their gravel pad just so and that made us not as close to the next rigs due to the staggering of the RV's in the pull thru campsites. Great dog run area, a little Interstate noise but with the door closed on our Rig you could not hear it. Very nice, I highly recommend this Park! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was the worst camping experience of our entire two week trip. The sites were nice, although rather narrow - but they only had TWO bathrooms for the entire campground, and one of the bathroom's toilet was plugged and "nasty" the entire time we were there!! If you wanted to use the shower in the bathroom that worked, that meant that there wasn't ONE available toilet! They were dirty and ill-kept. The front desk staff were friendly, but there were many permanent residents that apparently had a "club" of some type. They treated us "overnighters" rudely - not even returning a friendly "Hello" and making us feel very unwelcome when we entered the clubhouse, where the only working restroom was! We shall NEVER return to this campground and will advise others to avoid it. Too bad - since the location and surroundings were nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This small campground is extremely hospitable and well-maintained. Staff are upbeat and helpful. The park is virtually alongside Interstate 10, and there is a constant murmur of road noise. We did not find that bothersome, although some may object. The daily rate shown is the Passport America rate for full hookups, and included all taxes. While not a destination park for us, it is thoroughly pleasant and will remain on our itinerary when we travel this way again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice overnight stop. We always try to coordinate our trips to stay here if possible. Park is very easily accessed off I-10 Exit 303 which is seven miles east of the I-10 & I-75 intersection. Owners/operators of park are very friendly, helpful and keep park clean. Propane is available at park and there are two gas stations with convenience stores at Exit 303. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Passport America rate. Located just off the I-10, it is a nicely laid out RV Park which can handle large rigs too. Friendly Owners, and the sites have everything, with great cable and strong WIFI. Only has two washrooms, which are not enough for this size of park. All city amenities, only a short distance away, and nice part of Florida to explore. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I love this park. Right off I-10; they are Passport America and are VERY friendly. It is family owned and the owners are awesome. I have stayed here many many times. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice park for an overnight. It is close to the Interstate, so be aware of road noise if you have a soft sided rig. Sites are grass with a concrete patio. They were very firm while we were there, but I cannot judge what they may be like in wet weather. Yes, there are both pines and oaks in abundance. Roads are good and wifi was fine. I would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this RV Park for one night in November and left the 5th wheel for the month of December and stayed one more night. The owners are more than friendly, the campground is very clean, very secure and dogs are more than welcome. The sites, all pull-thrus, are quite level. It is close to Interstate 10 and Interstate 75; and there are two gas stations close (diesel available). Cable and Wi-fi are available but the Wi-fi did not really work there either days. I am giving the campground an 8 because we really like the campground and would stay here again. The only drawback in December was the noise from Interstate 10 at night because we kept our windows open. We didn't notice the noise in November, I would imagine, because our AC was running. The price reflects the Passport America discount. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice large spot on grass. We have a large motorhome with four slides and had plenty of room. We thought it would be very noisy because it is right next to I-10 but it really was not that bad. The staff (owners maybe) were very nice and helpful. This is a Passport America park which made the rent very affordable. We would come back if in the area. Easy access. The owners of this Passport America park are very nice, and quick to respond to a problem. My only problem was I needed a hammer to open my truck cap handle which jammed. One reason I really like this park is they have a fenced area where dogs can run and play, off leash, while I sit on a comfortable bench. I also really enjoy having Wi-Fi and seek out parks that offer it. I've stayed there before and I'll stay again. It is near I-10 but with the a/c running I couldn't hear any traffic noise. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Campground was very clean with gravel roads. Concrete pads and no pool. Good for an overnight stay. Very easy access to I-10 and there was no noticeable road noise from I-10. We camped here in a Motorhome.

They advertise big rig sites, but we found the sites to be limited in space. Luckily we only stayed one night and the park was not very full. Judging from the size of the sites, if the park was full, it would be a very tight fit. Park is right next to I-10, so if road noise bothers you, this isn't the place for you. Park is in very low ground. When it rains the water stands for a couple of days. The area around the park has standing water all the time it must be bad when the mosquitoes are out. Interstate 10 and the entrance ramp is next to the campground which is loud all night. Sites are close together but adequate. There's a nice dog park/run available. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have been stopping here on the way south and north for over a year. It's great for an overnight or short stay. They seem to have fixed the WiFi and we had a very good signal the last couple of times we stayed there. And it's FREE. The cable is great and even has HD stations up at the higher channels. Because of that we stayed New Years Day to watch the bowl games. The owners, Jim and Cherrie, are very nice. We asked to be parked out back in the open so we could use our dish and they have been very accommodating. We used the Passport America rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Great for overnight or a short stay. Well maintained gravel roads. The office staff were very friendly. The free cable TV had a good signal as did the free WiFi. We were in site #48. The 30 Amp AC service was a little low under moderate load (112 V), but was adequate. The Passport America rate is good for 3 nights with no extra charge for electric heaters. Very, very nice park. Owners are wonderful. Take you to your site helps you line up we can't say enough about them.Site level with patios.A little off I-75 but well worth the drive. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice people at this campground. Very friendly. The Park was ok. The sites were close together but adequate. Traffic noise from the nearby interstate can be distracting if you let it. It is a great place for an overnight or a few nights. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The campground is neat and well kept. We received the Passport America rate, and were treated very well. We would certainly stay here again. This is an excellent park for an overnight stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not a destination but a very nice stopover campground. Just 2 minutes off I-10. Sites were fairly spacious and the owners very nice. Plus they have a small but fenced in dog run area so you can let your pets run a bit. We would stop here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice older park being upgraded by new owners. It is exceedingly convenient to reach, one edge of the campground being only 150 yards from I-10. As a result, there was road noise, which might bother some persons (not us). The campground staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We paid the Passport America 50% rate. We will return again. The park was clean with some of the lots shaded under oaks. We were in the pull-through section for big rigs and had no shade. Park is close to I-10 and that is convenient to get in and out of but because it is near the interstate you get a lot of road noise. Its a good overnight park in the unshaded area. Fine for an overnight stop but pretty noisy this close to the interstate. Sites are a bit narrow. We had to drag the picnic table off the patio to open our slide. They were parking us every other one so it wasn't a possible. Really nice office staff. Nice Passport America park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park close to I-10 & I-75. All roads in park are gravel. 20 sites are gravel and 47 are grass, all sites are close to level. You have space from site to site. Park has a number of nice trees to park under. Free WiFi worked very well with three systems in park. Ground layout was very nice to look at. Owners were nice at check in and take you to your site. Some road noise off I-10. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We only stayed one night on the way to central Florida. It was easy on and off I-10 and a little noisy due to the interstate. The hosts were very friendly and took us to our site. The site had a concrete slab and patio with a picnic table. The campground was very dog friendly even having an area where the dogs could run off leash. There were some seasonal sites which appeared to have been well looked after and clean. The washrooms were clean and large and found in the recreation/meeting hall. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been camping here since this campground was built in 2000. While all the owners have been nice, Jim and Cherri the present owners, have been the best. They work very hard at keeping the campground in tip top shape, and someone is always around if you should need something. We will keep returning. We camped here, winter 2005-2006, in a Park Model. We stayed here one cold night. Kids and wife enjoyed playing pool and the Christmas decorations were an added enjoyment. The bad: Very close to I-10 and somewhat loud. I somewhat thought this might be the case prior to reserving. Park sites were a little tight but suitable for our needs. The good: Free excellant wireless internet access! Cable TV 50amp service. The lighting in the park is very nice. A convenient store is not on site but a gas station with milk, ice and beverages are at campground entrance. (Walking distance) I would camp here again but would try and locate away from I-10 if interstate noise is a problem for you. Fortunately our camper blocked most of it once closed up and inside. Was very cold that night. We have camped in a lot worse places and several better ones. The electronic conveniences and grounds keeping will keep us coming back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Hi. This place is great!!! I could not say enough about it: it is very very clean, nice shaded camp spots, 80 channels of cable, clean and nice new washers and dryers in a clean well lighted laundry room open 24 hours, a very clean clubhouse open 24 hours with coke machines and snack machines, a huge pool table, has nice clean showers and bathrooms with plenty of room, games and magazines of all sorts to use, the park has just the right amount of lighting at night "not to much or to little "just right", has 2 ponds with benches that you can sit and watch the large goldfish swim, has a nice large fenced in area that you can turn your dog a loose and let her run on the side of the park. The people that run the camp ground are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet; they will go over and beyond to make sure your stay there is one that you will remember as great. Clean and very quite park; I heard nothing at night except the crickets. This is a place, that if I need to go there again, I will be looking forward to the stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Passport America and Good Sam Park. Under new family ownership and management since October 2004. As noted in above review, park is close to I-10 but surprisingly there wasn't much noise. We slept with windows open and had no problem sleeping. The newer sites are long and level but narrower than older grassy sites, (around 20 feet wide). Enough room for slides and awnings, but close. All sites have cement pads, cable, wi-fi and 50 amp free. Very clean, well maintained and friendly owners. We will return We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Some of the nicest employees we have ever encountered. Park is being expanded with 40 or so new, very, very long pull-throughs, and concrete patios. Will be very nice when they finish. Would highly recommend this place. They go out of their way to make you at home and to meet your needs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The owners were helpful and friendly. The owner said a new playground, a new pool, and many new improvements would be coming in the Summer of 2004. I recommend this park highly. It was clean and spacious and I would stay again at this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I use your review in finding campgrounds all over and decided to check this campground out. I found the management and staff to be very friendly and helpful. They were pet friendly and their sites are easy to get in and leave. They have someone who cooks meals a few nights a week and we tried it and the food was excellent for a $4.00 donation. Well worth the price for a great home cooked meal. We were told that the park is going through some major changes and look forward to coming again to see the changes and pool. Worth the stop! This park could be a nice place with different management and staff. The owners are RV'ers but absent most of the time it seems (never present on either of our visits). They have made great stides in expanding the park soon to be well over 100 sites with a nice clubhouse and WiFi throughout the park but there are two sets of rules in the park. One for long term residents and one for everyone else. Dogs of long term residents including management are allowed to run free throughout the park without even the hint of supervision let alone someone to clean up after them, but if a "pile" of droppings is spotted on your site you will hear about it even if you don't have a pet! Twice, dogs from other sites jumped into our coach when we opened the door and we had to chase them back out and neither time was an owner in sight. They have meals served in the clubhouse 3-4 nights per week an arrangment they call Judy's Diner whereby you can purchase a meal for a $4-5 "donation". They use the word donation to get around health codes regarding resteraunts etc. to which they would be liable if they charged a fee for the food. Children are allowed but not really welcomed as the managers like to "gossip" about the poor behavior of the kids in the park and seem to blame every evil that occurs, imagined or otherwise on them, and we don't even travel with kids, but I feel sorry for any that do visiting this park. Finally, if you have a park that has expanded and allows tents, pop-ups and other units that are not self-contained you need more then 2 toilet/shower combos in the park. There seemed to be quite a wait to even use a toilet in the morning with others in the shower at the same times. We have returned once to the park and hoped it had improved but we will not again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is more of a correction than a review. Based on the review that was submitted above , my wife and I decided to spend Thanksgiving weekend here. When we arrived we took one look at the place and left! This would be an ok stop over if you were headed somwhere else. You could literally throw a rock and hit a semi as it was going by on I-10! People need to be honest with their reviews , The one above sounds like it was written by the campground owners. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We literally stumbled across this campground, on the internet, while shopping for a winter snowbird retreat. Oaks 'N' Pines is located at the intersection of I-10 and 441 in Lake City, Florida. It is only about a year or two old. The owners are as nice as they come and they aim to please. During the winter months, there are cook-outs every Saturday night. Chicken and ribs are supplied and you bring a covered dish and utensils. There is a recreation hall for games, pool table, TV, puzzles and just about anything else you could want to keep one occupied. There are trees, shrubs, roses, etc. everywhere and there is a definite sense of pride and accomplishment when you talk to the owners and the employees about the campground and their plans for the future. Outdoor activities include: horseshoes, shuffleboard, walkin trails, etc. The atmosphere reflects the attitude of the owners and employees, that of friendliness and the feeling of satisfaction. Try them and I know you will be pleased. We camped here in a camper.
