This was a great overnight stop on our way to Port St. Lucie. Good Sam price. Nice office folks who led us to our site. Convenient to I-75 but not close enough for the noise to be a bother. Very level grass sites. We will stop here again anytime we need a rest at this point!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here two nights and although the sites are grass, they were level. The park is clean and relatively quiet with friendly staff and campers alike. There seems to be a lot of semi and permanent residents but they were off to the sides and in well kept condition. We took the advise of previous posters and paid the extra $2.00 nightly fee for 50 amp service which kept us in the rear and quiet end of the camp ground. The only complaint was with the almost non existent WiFi. The signal would drop and get disconnected every 5 minutes or so. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great place for an overnight stay en-route. Staff is friendly and efficient. Even if you only need 30 amp hookup, we recommend paying $2 extra for the 50 amp sites, which are located in the back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Ok - to nice park. Sites are very level and extra long. Full hook ups available and overnighters were parked in a center field. Numerous long term residents. Very convenient off the interstate, easy to access with big rigs. Only stayed overnight, but would stay here again. Office staff was very friendly. Quiet. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Overnight stop. Not very busy. If they were busy, I don`t think we would be able to navigate the narrow roads with a big rig. Sites were level and long but quite narrow. Road noise was not an issue. Electricity went off several times for 4-5 min. Would stay overnight again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an easy on off I-75 but call the park for directions as someone else said it can be a little tricky as 2 roads take you there; you actually want the 2nd road (at the light). This is a nice park, all grass sites, but generally very level. Water good as was the electric. Bathrooms are very clean but pretty basic, one sink, one shower stall (with partial bar type door), same with commode, older and dated interior, BUT again very clean and well maintained. The people in the office were above and beyond friendly and helpful, really great people. It's mowed, and well maintained. Rate reflects Good Sam discount plus tax. We would definitely stay again. We needed a site for one night while traveling to NC. As others have indicated, the entrance is a little tricky at night as two roads will get you to the same location. Easy access and well lit. We had reservations with a late arrival noted. There wasn't a sole around when we arrived. The one night stay sites are up front and easy to use. The bath house doors were open and there was no A/C of any kind. Kind of different for Florida in July. Since we had full hook ups, it didn't really matter. At daylight we checked out and paid for the night. Nice guy in the office took the money. Again the door was wide open to the office with no A/C. Kind of different for Florida in July. All in all it was sufficient for a one night stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice spot for an overnight stay when traveling on I-75. Close to the Interstate, but not a lot of road noise. We stayed in site 8 in the front which was a pull through. The free Wi-Fi worked great and the site had trees for shade.We were led to our site and the help was very friendly.The cable TV was good. The rate was Good sam. We would stay here again. The park is right off of I-95. Easy in and out. They put us in the pull-thru sites up front, and we didn't even have to disconnect. Everything was very clean. Convenient. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very convenient, less than a mile off I-75 Exit 423. Yet, despite its proximity to the Interstate, it is amazingly quiet. The park's grass sites are well-maintained and very level. The staff is extremely friendly. We'd definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We parked here on our way west and stayed two nights. The park staff were very helpful and friendly. The sites were level and easy to access. The restrooms and showers were spotless and the showers were the largest we have ever seen in a RV park. We were very impressed with the campground and would stop back here as a rest stop in our travels. The campground was 4-5 miles from shopping malls, restaurants and Camping world. Lake City is a very nice city and easy to get around. The campground had late arrival sites which were very useful for people coming in without reservations late at night. There are other in and out campgrounds in the area but they are close to I-75 and noisy. Casey Jones RV Park is very quiet and road noise is minimal. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I called the campground two times earlier in the day and left messages. I never received a return phone call from them. After reading the reviews here, I decided that we would just show up for an overnight spot. The website shows that there are special overnight spots for late arrivals. We pulled in after dark and the office was closed. Some tree branches scraped the a/c units on the roof near the office. It was very dark with no lighting near the campsites. There are four late arrival site, all pull-through. The two most forward sites were taken, so we pulled into an open site behind one of the sites that was taken. This proved to be a problem in the morning as we had to wait for the other camper to move before we could get out. We were delayed for a little over an hour before we could leave. There are some low branches near the overnight spots. We are in a 40' motorhome and we tow a car. Perhaps if we had known about pull-through spots in the rear of the campground, we might have had a different experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy access off I-75. Some noise from interstate, but not too bad. Transient sites are grass or gravel with paved interior roads. Very good Wi-Fi signal and speed. Full bars on Verizon Wireless and no problem with satellite TV. Office was closed when we arrived. A sign directed us to sites that had 30 amp service. We found a non-circuit breaker 50 amp site and parked there. Sewer and water were also available at most sites. For an overnight stay this park works great. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The Good Sam rate included $2 for 50 amps. The sites were large and grassy with good water pressure, cable, and wifi. The people were very friendly and led us to the site. We didn't have to unhook and were told to use the water hose to get rid of the "love bugs" we'd accumulated. Appreciated that. Verizon signal was good, and the laundry and restrooms were clean. Easy off and on for the night. We will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great little campground for an overnight stay. Right off I-75 but barely any highway noise. Clean and well kept. Big rigs are put in the back in a grassy area which is fine as you don't have to unhook. We've stayed at other campgrounds in Lake City and this is the best one by far. Will stay here again. Nice little campground for an overnight stay. We pulled in at around 11:00 P.M. and all of the "late arrival" spots were full. Called the office and the lady said that we could take any of the pull-through spots. Hookups were fine, over 60 cable channels, and the laundry area was really nice. The office was closed so we just paid the next morning. The staff was really nice and we would stay here again for an overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We called ahead for an overnight stop and were not billed in advance. When we pulled in, 3 other RVs pulled in behind us. When I went to register a lady hollered at the guy registering us "don't forget to hold one for (our name)." We were led to a nice level pull through. The free cable TV was excellent. The free WI-FI was a little slow, and we could occasionally hear a little road noise. We opted for the 30 amp since we wouldn't be running both A/Cs. The only complaint we have was poor signage. We saw the campground from the road but had a problem with which road to take to get to it. We saw their entrance sign when we passed the first road and turned into a gas station to get back to it but could have gone to the light at the next street and had a better road to the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this campground for an overnight, serviceable, barely. Pros; easy on/off from I-75, escort to level site, we could keep tow car hooked, and excellent Wi-Fi. Cons; clean, but COLD shower, cable too fuzzy to watch (but clear sky for sat), EMS tripped 3 times for voltage issues-we were plugged in to 50 amp - there is no breaker at the pedestal. This is a typical "stop-over" site with nothing else to do but wait for next days traveling. No attractions nearby at all. Easy on and off the I-75 and not too noisy considering. Friendly check-in. Here is one thing that we really didn't like at all: You make booking and make payment in advance. When you show up the park charge you an additional $4.75 per day park fee. Park fee? This does not cover 50 amp, cable TV, internet or anything like that. This is a fee on top of the price already agreed. We don't think this is acceptable. We may stay here again but only for a quick stop-over and only after having agreed THE FULL PRICE before arriving. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a really nice place. They drove me to my site. It has grass and is level. The people checking me in were really nice. I was going to stay here one night but extended it to two. The bathrooms and showers were really clean. My rate was with Good Sam. It was easy to find and quite close to the interstate, but it was very quiet. I would stay here again. Easy Hwy access, roomy sites, well maintained grounds and buildings. Everyone extremely friendly, very dog friendly, clean/modern laundry and workout rooms, shower/bathroom spotless. Only one shower, but extra large with roomy dressing area with bench. Free cable TV and Wi-Fi. Extra $3 park fee + $1.50 tax added to each night stay, which increases cost. This was a good overnight stop and were surprised at how large the campground was. Our site was in a newer area, a pull-through gravel site with grass. Sites are a bit narrow but not bad. We requested an open site for satellite reception, which we got. Good cell phone reception also. Park personnel were very cordial and guided us to our site. We will return here again. This park is fine for an overnight stay, but don't get on the owners bad side. Rule number 1: This park does not fully inform you about any of their personnel rules as follows: Camper must be 10 years or younger or you can't stay there at a monthly rate. So tell your family and friends to call them first before you waste your fuel and travel all the way there and be turned away. We have had friends with different emails email this park and ask them about an extended stay and they never told them about the 10 year or younger rule, but they told us when we wanted to go back their after the summer after staying there for sometime between 07 and 09.They say its a new insurance rule, but we checked with other managers of different parks and they say insurance would not make the rule, because a park does not insure your camper, you do and it cannot be insured twice. This is a form of discrimination. But we appreciate them not wanting us because we found a much better park for less the money with all amenities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were surprised at the rates charged. The web site that is displayed on previous reviews is wrong according to the attendant, Colin. Apparently someone else owns that web site and they are unable to locate him to delete the wrong rates. Stopped in on our way home, we saw the sign on the highway and deceided to stop. Glad we did. Was a nice clean park we decided to stay a extra night. Park owners were nice but not very sociable. Took a walk around park and found out they just added an addition to the park, but cable was not available in those sites. Lots of long term residents, campers in good shape. Only down fall for this park is that they have no pool, it gets pretty hot in Florida during the summer months, would not stay here for long term in the summer other than that we would stay again in cooler weather if in the area. Just got back from vacation and just got a chance to do this review on this park. We camped there for a week, we were going to stay longer, but changed our minds. The park is clean and well maintained, they just added more sites to expand the park, but those sites don't have cable TV, the sites with cable TV are extra per month. A site with metered electric,cable and Wi-Fi are $280.00 plus tax per month plus a $100.00 deposit that is not mentioned on their website, you don't find about deposit until you arrive. If you don't want cable then its $250.00 per month plus deposit for electric. The management are not very friendly, they only seem to talk to you if you have an expensive camper and fit into their category. The park does not have a pool for their guest, but the owners of the park have their own private hot tub in their side yard of their mobilehome. The rec room which has a pool table can only be used by people who come their with RV clubs others cannot use it. Went we were going to leave we found out that they have a new insurance rule that if your RV or camper is not 10 years old or newer you are not allowed to stay long term, so if you leave the park and want to return you cannot because of this new rule they say they have from their insurance company, we were not told this by the guy that was the manager/owner but by some others that tried to get back in the park. So this is one reason while we will not return here again. If you cannot afford a new camper or RV don't choose this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed just overnight. Campground is very convenient to 1-75, and we were not bothered by the noise at all. Pleasant owners. Site, up front, was an easy pull-through, grassy and level. Park is old, but well-maintained. Restrooms were dated, but clean and roomy. Good cable and wi-fi connections. We were charged a $3 "park fee." We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. The management just added on an addition to the park.Only downfall to this addition was you could not receive wii and cable tv in that area,it seems they don't have the money or the equipment to add wiring for the wifi or cable tv. Another problem with the park was the fact they only had one trash dumpster for the whole park and it fills up over the top and trash falls on the ground. There lots of locals there that were pretty friendly. The park owners seemed ok,but did not like to chat with you only to say hi. If in the area we would stay again, but ask for a space away from the sign shop right in the park backyard. Some nights they worked late and there was lots of noise when the workers there threw out there work trash. One thing that would make the park better would be a poo. It gets very hot in Florida in the summer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had easy access to the park and our site with our large 5th wheel trailer and truck. Pull throughs seemed plentiful for overnight stays. I-75 was visible but noise was minimal. The seasonal sites had the shade. The restroom, though dated, was very clean and pleasant. The cable TV reception could have been clearer but it was adequate. This is an OK park for an overnight. There are lots of permanent people who do not like the overnighters. Sites are very tight and with all the extra cars and trucks from the permanent people, I had a very hard time getting into the site. The dog that was tied up in office, guess it belongs to the owner, nearly tore my wife’s leg off. Guy behind the counter thought it was funny. If we weren’t so tired, would have left right there. There is lots of traffic noise as there is a Freightliner place right behind the park. I did not get very much sleep. I will not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park isn't much to look at, but looks can be deceiving. It's quiet, clean and affordable. The $24 overnight rate was after the Good Sam discount and taxes. The site I was on (not sure any of them are numbered) was dirt and sand. 50/30/20 electric at the pedestal as well as cable TV (about 60-channels) and water. Many of the sites are shaded, but I also saw units in an open area that had no shade. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Wi-Fi is no additional charge and was more than strong enough to be able to use it inside my motor home without the need for an external Wi-Fi adapter. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here overnight coming back from a 3 month trip with a lot of boondocking. It was far enough from the Expressway to stop the noise. WiFi was free and strong but kept cutting out. Last stop before going home so we back-flushed a long while. Bath and showers nice. Not much at exit, but one exit north has lots of stuff. If you use Next Exit book, there is a mistake in the order of exits so be careful. We would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Due to its location, it is a very good campground for a one night stopover. They gave us a pull-thru site and cable and Wi-Fi were included. They are in the process of expanding the campground so that they will be able to accommodate additional seasonal residents. It seems that as the seasonal prices for campgrounds continue to escalate in central and south Florida, more people are choosing this area because it is more affordable. This campground would be a good choice in that respect. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have stayed at this park many times. The owners are always friendly and helpful. They have many activities such as Bingo, pot luck dinners and dances with intertainment. I would suggest that any one traveling through Lake City, Fl.should stay here. The sites are large and the park is very neat. The seasonal campers are also friendly and helpful. Nice Campground, most overnight campers go on nice open field, no problems with trees or maneuvering big rigs around. They show you to site, propane for sale by office, no electrical problems, has mailbox area for seasonal campers, close to pizza and ice cream store on busy exit. Some sites are close to busy road where big trucks go to service shop all night. Other than that noise, quiet sites in entrance area and in far back. Lots of seasonal campers. Nice little store, next exit is to Mall area. Great location, wonderful employees, has entertainment on certain holidays, and wonderful meals in rec room, around christmas time. No recreation for children, has weight room and laundry. Wifi is great in certain areas. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

As mentioned in other reviews, this is a great place for an overnight stop, being close enough to I-75, but out of earshot of the freeway noise. We found an inconsistency between the rate advertised on their website and what they charged us, and their wi-fi service was not as good as they told us it would be. But the park was pleasantly shaded with lots of trees. (Actually, when we were there the trees were dropping acorns that hit the top of our rig and sounded like baseballs!) We used their laundry, which was small but adequate. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 3 days with a rally. Overall good experience. No pads or picnic table, but power was ok (Stayed around 110 to 115). Water pressure was good. Biggest drawback was the sewer. They do not have a pumping station. They are on old fashion gravity fed sewer. Was full when we attempted to dump. Overall, good overnighter and for small groups. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A good place to rest one or two nights before moving on. Nice laundry and some small shops within walking distance but for stocking up with groceries or any other serious shopping one must drive a the interstate a couple of miles north. Owners are very friendly and accommodating and I would stay overnight again when passing through. Nice grassy spots and the manager spots the campers so as to provide as much separation and possible. Quite place the few nights I stayed there. Close to the Interstate but noise level is negligible. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is primarily a 55+ winter time snowbird campground. It is a fine park, however, for a stopover. It is safe, quiet, and clean with lots of nice space for a walk. The bathrooms were very clean, but dated. With only one shower, two toilets, and two sinks (one for the guys), it was good that there were only a few overnighters. Definitely use this park while traveling through on I-75. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is best for overnight stops or a short visit. Attractive and well maintained. Dirt roads which are dusty. It is a short distance off I-75 but noise is minimal. There are quite a number of permanents, but for the most part the permanent sites are well kept. Has an exercise room with several pieces of equipment. Did not see a playground area for children. The only thing I did not like is that the sites are very narrow. It was not full while we were there, and they were parking folks on every other site so we were not so tight. This is a family owned campground. The campground, the restrooms/showers and laundry room are kept in immaculate condition. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to help you if you encounter a problem. The campground has occasional entertainment in their recreational hall, which we were fortunate enough to be able to participate in. The singer was great! They have a super bowl dinner/party on Super Bowl Sunday with wide screen TV viewing of the game. We understand, from some of the seasonal tenants, that the owners also provide outstanding Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, which they have entirely prepared themselves, for all who are in the park on those two holidays. The seasonal tenants also praise the owners for the outstanding fall and Christmas holiday decorations throughout the park. I would wholeheartedly recommend this park to anyone. To add to my review, it is very easy to access the park from the interstate. You do not have to drive miles out of your way to have a place to sleep for the night. We were so impressed with the park, we stayed longer than we had intended to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is located less than a mile from a Freightliner repair center and has big rigs running up and down the road all times of the day and night, which was very noisy and the big rigs would cause our trailer to vibrate. The owners are very friendly when sober, but proved to be irate when drunk (which was the majority of the time). Most campground occupants have been there for years and one occupant runs a big rig detailing business at his trailer, which blocks traffic in and out of the park and adds to the noise level. We will not stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A small Ma & Pa campground just off I-75 at Lake City. Staff was very friendly. Most occupants have been here for years and their RV's show it. It seems as if they turned the back yard into RV spaces for people just stopping for the night. Despite being old, the park seemed clean, grass cut etc. Can't beat the price. No amenities, just a place to stop for the night. On our visit most of the people in our section were staying here for the Florida - Florida State game in Gainesville. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stopped here after being on the road for long hours, and it was easy. We arrived unannounced and paid for one night, only to realize we needed two nights. We were welcomed by an elderly couple who apparently are the owner/operators, and they made us feel like family! They assured us that we could stay however long he needed. This is a no-frills park, but friendly people and loving care. There is a Wendy's within walking distance and a gas station in front. A quiet and welcome oasis at the end of the day. I would recommend this little Mom & Pop park to anyone. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stopped at this park as an overnight stop on a trip to Miami. It has very easy access from the freeway. The office offered a AAA or Good Sam discount which our rate reflects. This is not a park you would choose for scenic reasons and there is not much around it to do because a number of the businesses around it are closed (motel/restaurant/etc.), but it was quiet and adequate for an overnight stop on your way somewhere. The pull-through sites were level and grassy. There was cell phone coverage for AT&T and with an antenna up, TV channels were accessible. The office also houses a barber shop if you're in need of a trim while traveling. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very friendly small park, quite convenient to the Interstate but far enough away to be quiet. The owners went out of their way to make us welcome while our truck engine was being replaced. In fact, since our truck was crippled, they moved our trailer onto the campsite using their own truck. They repeatedly extended our stay with no complaints as we went through deadline after deadline with the repair service. They loaned us a vehicle without question after the repair shop reclaimed the first loaner. They helped us with advice about dealing with that repair shop. Overall, they were genuinely nice. The only thing that keeps this from being a ten is the lack of laundry facilities. We would definitely stay here again. By the way, if you have vehicle problems, DO NOT deal with Toney's 24 Hour Road Service across the road. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here on the way to South Florida. Be very careful entering the park if you have a big coach, because of the entrance. Sites are level and relatively clean, bathrooms are nasty. We camped in the back part, and except for road noise, it was pretty quiet. No cable, and Wi-Fi was poor or non existent. Lots of long term residents with old units. Park managers? were friendly, but a little strange. I can see why they call it "in and out". Not bad for an overnight stop but would not recommend it for a snowbird destination. Rate was different than what we told, and our friends were charged a different rate than we were. We were told it was due to a trainee, but they didn't want to adjust it. All in all, a decent place to stop for a day or so, handy to all restaurants. Italian place down the street was excellent. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here on the way home from FL. It was OK for one night. Don't know if I will stay there again. It was close to the highway and there was truck noise at night. The driveway had a steep incline coming from off the road. I could see where some units scraped the bottom there were marks all over. Glad I saw that and pulled in on an angle and out the same way. This campground is conveniently located behind a gas station on US90 near businesses. The campground registration is the convenience store for the gas station. Location is 2 long blocks from Wal-Mart. Walking your pet is just walking around the campground. Interstate noise is constant. A moderate number of campers are permanent and their sites are somewhat unsightly. The lady who checked us in was courteous and helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stay away. Good if you absolutely need to stop for the night. Keep doors locked. Vandalism is common here, wifi poor, and cable has many channels listed but only a few are actually working. Bathrooms are Terrible!!! I don't think they ever clean them. This is not a RV park, but a trailer trash location. This park could be awesome, due to proximity to great eating, and stores. Owner is not an RV friendly person. We stayed a month here and were disgusted. We had to clean the bathroom just to use it. Since we usually camphost at state parks, we have a high level of quality expectations. This park fails on all levels. We will not return, staying in a parking lot would be more desirable. We have stayed here several times but always just for an overnight stop on our way out of state. It is perfect for just that: an overnight stop. Not recommended as a destination itself. It is just off I-75, easy in and easy out. Pull through sites mean no disconnect of tow vehicle. Clean bathrooms. Cable TV available for a fee. You can walk to dining and convenience stores. Plenty of choices for both. This is a typical interstate exit area. Not much to do in the campground itself but worth a stay if you are tired from driving and want to rest for the night. Located behind a convenience store which doubles as the check-in point, this RV park is just a few notches above "boondocking" in a Wal-mart parking lot. The pros are electric, water and dump. The cons are uneven grass site, dirty restroom and shower facilities and no picnic tables. Needed a place to rest overnight on our way to Georgia, so we chose this park, which turned out to be a bad choice. There were a lot of permanent residents here, some in old campers and some in make-shift tents. The restrooms were dirty as was the laundry room. Most of the sites were not level. They told us that they have Wi-Fi but that did not work either. Since we found out that there was no Wi-Fi, you had to try and connect to the local business in the area to get Wi-Fi. We told the park manager about the problems but he didn't care. If in the area again we will not stay at this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Warning! Very deceiving! They claim WiFi available: this is not true. Only if you can bootleg from Days Inn or Wendy's which seemed to be firewalled. Cable TV is only avalable on a few sites, at extra charge. The Ladies shower/restroom was closed, with a note on the Mens faciity saying "For Men & Women." Extremely gross and unsafe for the ladies. Totally unacceptable! They also advertise all grassy sites however, the first site assigned was all dirt on the entrance side of our rig. We asked to move to the grassy site next door and they agreed. No picnic tables are available at any of the sites. There is a scummy, slimy "pond" near the restrooms: who knows what could be living in there? Will never stay here again, there are too many other much cleaner, safer, nicer sites nearby with cable TV and Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park wasn't maintained in any manner whatsoever. The various office managers do not have the necessary skills to deal with customers. The hygiene conditions of their restrooms were deplorable! I could not use the bathroom since it was so nasty and dirty. It appeared as if they hadn't cleaned the washrooms for months! No toilet paper, no hand towels, broken sinks, only one sink in ladies room which was plugged up and disgusting. I complained to the Management and was told that they had annual people that lived there that messed up the campground and that is why it was in the condition it was at the time. This was our second time in two years of staying at this park. The second visit was by accident only. When I registered I told them if the bathrooms were deplorable that I wanted my money back. I was assured that the bathrooms were clean. That is such an understatement. The bathrooms were worse than most out-houses! Disgusting!!! We will never stay here again and have notified Good Sam's not to misrepresent this location in the future with their approval. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We used AAA Auto Discount. Rear of the park is a lot nicer than the front. Long term residents' sites look like something out of the Beverly Hillbilly's, before they struck oil! Pay station was rather dirty, but we were escorted to our site as it was late night, which was nice. This was a pleasant overnight stay, with no problems. It is located close to the highway, so a perfect place to stop and get in quick with no problems. It is a little bit on the "red neck" side, but we would stay again if traveling through. We stopped here overnight. Several restaurants are in walking distance and Walmart is about 1/2 mile down the street. We were assigned a site where the electrical hookup did not work so we were reassigned. Another camper was already there. We called the office and they gave us another site - another camper was already at that site as well. We finally just found our own site and let them know the number. Office was rather unorganized. There were some run down RV's in the park with grass grown up around them - apparenly long term residents. The bathrooms and laundry room were not clean. The front portion of the park was not very inviting but the back portion where the satellite sites were was neat and well kept. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Warning. In the park brochure they advertise that they have the internet (Wi-Fi) which is not true. They are bouncing off other business internet in the area. To receive it you have to up close, near it. Also, they say that all sites are full hookup, but in the back spaces you cannot receive cable TV, and yet they charge the same price for them. Also the bathrooms are fithy and have been painted over but never washed down. There are a few people here that live in make shift tents that are nothing but plastic. There is one man in one of the tents that walks around in his black color underwear, which shows everything. Not a good thing for young children or women to see or be around, and nothing is done about this. Also the laundry is also rundown only two washing machines and 2 dryers. If one or both break down they say there is nothing they can do. So if you decide to stay here, you have been warned. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Called to make a reservation for a pull thru site with cable tv. Offered to "hold" the site with a credit card and was told it was not necessary because they had plenty of sites available. We stayed at this park 2 years ago and it was in much better condition back then. The park is fine for a quick overnight stay. There are a number of full time trailers and a few make-shift tents on the property. The bathrooms are terribly dirty and most of the sinks and stalls were inoperable. In the back of the park where they send most of the overnighters, a 4 foot fence separates the park from a colony of homeless people. We will find another place to stay in Lake City when we return. Beware! The manager of this park will have an eye on you at all times. Don't do anything or he'll threaten to kick you out and keep your rent. The bathrooms are very dirty: would not even wash my dog in them. Bars of soap on a wooden shelf that everyone uses. Some of the toilets had human waste on them. Advertises Wi-Fi, but uses the internet at the motel, which cannot be accessed at the park. You'll need a booster system to receive a signal. On the weekends you'll have to deal with noise from all the owner's family and friends playing games in the field next door: early afternoon until evening. You are not allowed to make noise: no music. Take it from my experience and don't waste your money. The monthy spots are not worth $430.55. If you are going to stay overnight, you are better off staying in the Wal-Mart parking lot just around the corner. PS: The 5 mph speed limit in this park is just for visitors. The manager does at least 40-50 mph regardless of the children in his park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very basic campground that is very close to the interstate, but without the interstate noise. It's located behind a convenience store/gas station and the owners are on the property. Interior roads are paved, but the sites are grass and dirt, and many seemed to be quite rutted making it somewhat hard to get level. There are small trees in the front half of the place, but no real shade. There were a lot of RV's coming and going each of the 6 days we spent there, but the entire front of the campground was full most of the time. As soon as someone left, someone else would come in to take their place. It's also right in the middle of a shopping strip district. Lots of commercialization with stores, chain restaurants, etc. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Traveling from Gulf beaches to Atlantic beaches, we thought we would stay here 2 nights. We wanted to break up the driving day and get some wash done. The water pressure was not adequate to allow our washer to run. Barely adequate for a shower. The amenities were fairly nice. The pool was clean, grass cut, and hook-ups worked. For some reason there was no cable hook-up at our site. We just set up satellite. I didn't say anything to the woman at the desk as she was very argumentative and I did not want an encounter with her. The Wi-Fi worked great for us, but there were very few campers in the park. Former KOA, 1 mile north of I-10 on 441. 441 is pretty busy,so there is some highway noise but not like the Interstate. Stayed 4 days; goal was to visit friends. Lots of big rig friendly sites, almost all are pull through. Drive through a little bit of grass to blacktopped site, and picnic table is on concrete. Site is a hair narrow, step out of RV onto the grass. Plenty of room between sites. Leaving is a little tight; the road between the sites is a little narrow. Another post mentioned the rules. Yes, there are a few more rules than usual. Rules such as "no draining of petroleum products from motor vehicles", leave the ducks alone, close the shower curtain - really? Makes me wonder what situation forced the owners to put these things in writing. Water pressure is low, owners know it, can be a problem for on-demand water heaters. Cable was good with several HD channels and only went out once. Internet kept resetting so we did not use it. In their defense, it rained 6" in 36 hours during our stay. Blocks are required under jacks, and are provided. Satellite worked fine, Sprint 3g wi-fi was good, Sprint cell mediocre. Dog friendly, employees helpful, not intrusive. Office is open 5 hours a day, 8-10a and 4-7p. Gave it a 7 because of the water pressure. Would recommend it and would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

If you love rules, you will rate it a 10. We are full timers and have never seen the like of it in our travels. Surprised there wasn't a quiz for us in the morning. Owner charged me $3 electric surcharge because I arrived 4 hours early, although I agreed to leave in their normal 20 hour check in/out time span. I have been metered before at less than $3 PER DAY; this was for 4 hrs of having a TV on. Micromanagement extraordinaire here! If you get pass the office guru, the campground will serve you well. This is your best choice in this area. Many parks in this region are little more than fishing camps but we had paced streets and paved pad, no tree problems with wide turns. Off the interstate a little (minutes), west of I-75 (if that is your turn) a little, but worth it. Owners will give you an even shorter route back to the free ways that are not in the books and works fine. If a big rig the 120' pads (#'s 1-6) are immediately on your right as you pull in so do not turn and pull to the front of the office. Plenty of room to pull in and then just stop. OH...and do not let the kids chase the pet ducks! Our 45' bus was very happy here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While this is a very clean and well spaced campground, they present you with a list of rules that are very off-putting. They say "my way or the highway." When people offer this type of attitude I stay clear. We stopped for just a night stay. Easy on/off the highway, big flat pull-through sites, quiet. Bathrooms very clean, excellent shower pressure. Laundry facility excellent and very clean. We pulled in after 7pm, park manager saw our lights on and came over to give us the codes for the wifi and bathrooms. Would stay here again, very clean and nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate was with Passport America. Well run and clean. Grounds were maintained daily. The water pressure was adequate, but unreliable and CATV was not the best. Everyone there was extremely friendly and attentive. Our first day was tense due to a neighbor with barking dog for 4 hours. I reported it to staff, they spoke to the guest and it never happened again. We stayed 3 weeks. Road traffic was sometimes bothersome. Huge bass were caught in the fishing pond which added to our enjoyable stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The camp was impressive -- well kept up, super clean bathrooms and showers, recycling offered for aluminum to benefit an animal shelter, a friendly and knowledgeable host, wifi worked beautifully, general store with just about anything you might need in a pinch (other than food) even refills for propane. The only downside is the closeness of the sites - you are right next to your neighbor and practically look in their windows. Upside: ducks wander the grounds freely. We knew there were rules going in, but this place is nuts. Sign posted in office stated you could not even wash the bugs off your windshield. We had a reservation for 2 nights but when I saw that we left the next morning. I am sure they had their reasons, but they were over the top. I would never stay here again. I have stayed in this Park many times in the last three years. The Owner is friendly and offers assistance if any is needed. It's in an excellent location: 2 miles from Lake City and grocery stores. Outstanding location for Vets: 2 miles from the VA Hospital and VFW. An American Legion Post is located across the street. The Parks Wi-Fi is very good. The Park is on my list where to stay whenever I come to Lake City. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The website seems normal but the campground isn't. The woman owner is quite rude and not there half the time. There is dust and dirt all over the inside of the small rec hall and inside toilet areas. In back of the office there is a smell of garbage. The people here were not very friendly either. We felt so itchy after staying here one night that we had to stop at the Flying J and use the showers before traveling on to Lakeland. If it were free I wouldn't stay here again. Stay on I-75 and don't get off in Lake City. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very odd campground in that you can't check in until 4:00. With that being said, we were able to check in earlier with calls to the management explaining that we needed to be earlier arrivals coming from Georgia. I also had washing to do and meals to prepare. We loved the campground even with all the rules and regulations. You can see that in time past it was a great campground with lots of visitors I'm sure. The laundry was extremely nice and clean. We also enjoyed the store as well as the grounds. The pool was clean, but it was rainy and cool. This was are 2nd time here, nothing has changed since 2010. Still very nice and peaceful. Again we were able to get the best site, #44. We fished a lot and caught a lot of bass. We did the springs and relaxed. owners do have a lot of rules but this is what we like and it is needed compared to other parks we have been in this year. The park is very, very clean. The only negative is the cable t.v. is not strong enough, Cable company needs to amplifiy it. Ohm it out, it is low. We camped here in a motorhome and we will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice place and nice lady running it. Park feeling with lots of trees and grass. Cute pond in the back. We enjoyed sitting on the concrete pad beside our site watching fire flies and listening to the frogs at night. We were able to fill out propane tank in the morning. Freeway is close but our site was in the back and not much of a problem with noise. Definitely will stay again. We have a 36 ft and pull a truck and were able to get in and out easily. If you must stop somewhere for the night, then use the rest area on I-10 because if you come here it'll be a mistake. The manager has a chip on her shoulder when she's around, which luckily is only a few hours a day. If you need anything between 10 and 4 pm, then forget it. All the cabins have mold on the outside walls and the dumpster smells heavily of garbage. Oh yeah, and check out the fake reviews the owners write for their place. What a joke. Great for an overnight, probably for longer if there is a reason to stay in Lake City. Nice playground, friendly people. They do give themselves room to kick you out (staking things in the ground, chasing ducks etc) but they did not indicate any desire to use them. Our site was very long and nearly level. They require wood or plastic blocks under jack pads, but they do supply some (there were even enough to hold my water filter since I couldn't stick the holder in the ground). A nicely maintained park with a lot of extras. Large pull through sites with no shade for over night stays while traveling. The park staff was very friendly and most helpful. For some reason(s) your GPS will not get you to this park. It will, if you put in the long & lat coordinates. It is located about 5 easy miles from I-75 & I-10. If staying here, be sure you're pulling into the correct campground: this one is a little more than a mile north of the interstate, not the one right next to it. The short drive was worth it though, we were amazed at how empty it was. Huge pull through lots for rigs over 70 feet, great pool, and nicely responsive owners. It is close to highway but traffic noise was not a factor during the time we were there. Check-in is not until 4 p.m.. Because we asked to check in before that we were told we would have to check out by 8 a.m. or pay for another full day. There were some sites that had shade during part of the day but most did not. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and were accessible only by security code for safety. There was a small pool and a small play ground for children. We decided to stop and check out the park for our winter vacation in Florida. The park was nice and clean. Pool was clean cool and refreshing. Only problems with the park was the area, it was in the poorer part of town and far away from the local Wal-Mart. Also if you stay nightly the Wi-Fi is free to nightly guest, but we found out that if you stay monthly you have to pay $20.00 extra per month, which we found to be outrageous, since they charge $400.00 per month plus tax. After hearing about the $20.00 extra per month for Wi-Fi we decided to try another park in the area for our winter stay in Florida. Other than those problems the park was OK. The manager/owner seemed a little rude and really didn't go out of her way to care about us not staying for the winter. We would stay here again if in the area, but just overnight. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake City Campground is 1 mile north of I-10 at Hwy 441 about 63 miles from Jacksonville. The Office is only open from 4-7PM and check in is at the same time. The place has a pool, playground and 2 ponds. The restrooms and spotless and the store/office has about anything you might want. You are about 4 miles from downtown Lake City that has a lot of small shops and eating places. I would stay there again if I am in Lake City area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Never Dunn's RV Park is 7 miles from I-75. It is a working farm with peacocks, chickens, goats and dogs. It is located on a dirt road and the campers are parked in an open field with very little shade. The whole place had an unkempt look, the bathroom was dirty and the pool is a block away from the camping area and you have to walk past a very unfriendly rottweiler to get to it. You can't go walking because every time a vehicle passes you are covered with dust. The only positive things going for it are the owners, who are very friendly and the colorful peacocks who come looking for a handout. If I gave this place a grade it would have to be a C. We camped here using Passport America. It was cash only and no receipt. We asked for a pull thru. We were directed to drive around the house and then to pull behind other rigs and "pull thru" the site we were shown. The laundry is standard house units (1 each) and you leave money in a box. The breaker boxes do not have breakers to shut off power to the receptions. The water is shared with a y and does not have back flow preventives. The sites are very narrow. The directions are poor and help is not given when you call, they just say "I do not know where you are". The hydro tubs are jetted tubs in the bath house. I would not stay again. First we arrived at the park after an all day rain and the entry road and serious lack of CG signs ( they said that "someone" stole them ) made it a trip through mud-ville. It is away from grocery stores,(civilization ) the sites were soggy and water logged and we only were offered 30 amp and water and a view of nothing. The owners/staff tried to be accommodating but there is no way our 40' 5thwheel could fit/enjoy the space they offered us. The campers that were there appeared to be long term "homesteaders". The only reason we considered it was because it was a Passport America park but it's not worth even the PA price. If you try and find the park with a GPS, forget it. The GPS recognizes Old Wire Road by a different name. We would not return and in fact only stayed long enough to turn around and leave. They have a long way to go before they meet even minimum cg standards. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a brand new (since August 2006) family owned park. They are still in the process of building shower/restroom facilities and adding more spaces to the park. It is very clean and quiet. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and surrounding attractions. Rates are more than reasonable and although we are not pet people, this is a very pet friendly park, but not to excess for people like us who don't like to be awakened to barking or stepping in poo while walking the nature trails around the park. Located down a dirt road (rather bumpy in places), you feel as though your spending the night in the woods, very peaceful. Highly recommended, will definitely visit again. We utilized this park for an enroute stop-over. Most sites are pull-thru. Both shaded and open sites are available. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The park appears to be well maintained with very few unoccupied (e.g., stored) vehicles. The lack of a playground or pool makes this park less suitable for families with children. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The only negative is its proximity to the highway. However, the traffic noise was not very pronounced and we were easily able to get a good night's sleep. We try to stay at this park to get our 2nd wind before heading home into S. Florida. The check in is easy and the people are very nice. You are taken to your site which for over nights is usually out in the open although there are plenty of treed spots as well. The rate is for Passport America. We have never had any issues here and even though we can see I-10, we never hear any traffic. We recommend this park to anyone who needs a nice stopover either on I-75 or I-10. The Ole Time Country Buffet off Hwy 90 at the mall has wonderful country food and more than you'll ever eat. They also give a military discount and have special rates for seniors between 2 and 4 pm. A nice place to spend the night or a couple of days. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Good place to stop while heading E/W on I-10 or N/S on I-75. Sites were level, but somewhat narrow. Park was reasonable well maintained.. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Wi-fi wasn't working while we were there. Good Verizon signal. Lot of road noise from I-10 GPS may not get your here so put in as an intersection I-10 & US 441, Park is located in N@ corner of this intersection about 3 miles E of I-75. You have to pay $5 for an additional vehicle that you are not informed about until after you pay and look at the receipt and you have to leave your extra vehicle in an overflow area. They refuse to let you pull the extra vehicle to your site for 10 minutes to load or unload so you can place your animal into your vehicle when leaving. The man on duty was screaming for us to get off the property even when we were explaining that we were just putting our pet into our vehicle as we were already hooked up, etc. and leaving. When we arrived during working hours around 3PM there was a sign on the office door that said something to the effect of Closed for picking up the kids. Having never been to this park before plus the lack of obvious traffic flow direction signs made it difficult for us to find a drive through site with all the full timers already parked there. The cable connection for our site was on the opposite side from the electrical pedestal, but they had a long cable already attached even though it had to be run/thrown under our motorhome to connect it. Our Passport America rate was for cash, not credit card. For the price, this was an okay park for a one night stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beware if you check into this park. We had planned to stay for 3 months while having surgery and paid $471 for the first month. Within the first week the owner was harassing us and swearing at us because of perceived parking violations: The first violation was parking in front of the coach for 10 minutes to unload the car; the second was parking the car 4 feet behind the coach rather than snug against the coach in order to avoid pine sap from their trees (we were not obstructing anything); the third violation was accidentally veering 18 inches to the right behind the coach when pulling in (and then immediately straightening the car). Then the owner came over to the coach, banged on the door, called us unprintable names, and told us to leave because "three strikes and you're out!". We had been there for 19 days. Actually, they did us a favor because the strain of staying there plus the strain of the anticipated surgery was becoming unnecessarily unbearable. Their sign on the road indicates "fun" but I've had more fun and been more relaxed at a funeral. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We paid the Passport America nightly rate. This is an owner-operated campground and they do so in an open, friendly, and helpful manner. The park itself is extremely well-maintained. We have stopped here multiple times and always have a pleasant experience. When we called for reservations we asked for a shaded site on the north side of the campground where buildings blocked some of the sound from the interstate. Was assured we could get it, but when we checked in we were taken to a site on the west side with no shade and nothing to buffer the sound from the interstate. I had to wear ear plugs the 2 nights we stayed, to block the noise. They also stated they had Wi-Fi internet but the signal was so weak we kept getting a "disconnected" message. The nightly rate was suppose to be $13 a night but they charged us $5 extra per night just to park our car. Anything beyond 1 unit (a travel trailer and a truck or 1 RV) costs extra to park. We will not be going back to this RV park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Don't just stay one night. Don't miss the local springs and tubing on the Ichetucknee river. Compared to Miami where we were wedged in between other campers, it was so nice to stretch out here in the big pull through spaces with trees and birds. Also we left our RV here in the park's storage area for a few weeks. We felt very comfortable leaving it here, and the storage rate is very reasonable. About 10 minutes drive to shopping/restaurants. This was a great place to overnight. Our gravel-and-grass parking spot was flat as a pancake, like most of Florida. The campground owners were friendly and escorted us to our spot. Rate reflects 3-day Passport America rate. This isn't a destination park but is good for overnight or longer if you want to visit the attractions in the area. No playground; no pool. Close to I-10 which is noisy but you do get used to it after awhile. We weren't bothered by the noise even though we sleep with our windows open. Our only complaint, as it were, is that they packed you in right next to each other, even though there were plenty of open spaces elsewhere in the park. There was only about 10' between rigs, and they made you unhook (if you were towing a trailer or fiver) and park your tow vehicle behind your trailer. They do direct you to your full hookup site; there is a nice dog run; Wi-Fi was good; very good selection on cable TV. We would recommend this park to others and will stay here again if we're in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is probably the nicest "overnight" campground that we have encountered (and thus use each year on our Florida trips). Exceptionally helpful owner-staff. One is always escorted to the campsite selected, and aided in parking with easy access to hookups. It should be mentioned that road noise from I-10 is present, as the park is only about 100 yards from the Interstate. We aren't bothered by this but some may be more sensitive. There are level pull-thru gravel sites with a concrete pad for the picnic table. There are also well kept grassy areas between sites. The gravel driveways are easy to maneuver and the long sites are big rig friendly. Lack of trees makes for good satellite reception, but the Park is surrounded by trees. A great overnight stopover. We've used this site on both east and westbound trips and plan for it each time. Convenient to the interstate. Level gravel and grass sites. In view of the interstate with its road noise, but not so obnoxious that it bothered us at all. After driving all day, road noise is not a big thing for us once the windows are closed. The owners are very courteous and work well with any needs of campers. They escort you to the site and help guide you in. The rate quoted was a PA rate. This is an excellent park with a friendly staff. We were escorted to our site and guided into position. We used passport America and this was a great bargain. The park is very spacious with a nice clubhouse among other amenities. There is a concrete pad and picnic bench at each site. The WIFI worked good and the cable was excellent. They have a fenced dog run. There are shaded sites available and we had plenty of room to maneuver our Class A with a toad. It is near the interstate which provides easy access but the traffic noise was not a problem at all. We will stop here again when in the area. This was the worst camping experience of our entire two week trip. The sites were nice, although rather narrow - but they only had TWO bathrooms for the entire campground, and one of the bathroom's toilet was plugged and "nasty" the entire time we were there!! If you wanted to use the shower in the bathroom that worked, that meant that there wasn't ONE available toilet! They were dirty and ill-kept. The front desk staff were friendly, but there were many permanent residents that apparently had a "club" of some type. They treated us "overnighters" rudely - not even returning a friendly "Hello" and making us feel very unwelcome when we entered the clubhouse, where the only working restroom was! We shall NEVER return to this campground and will advise others to avoid it. Too bad - since the location and surroundings were nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This small campground is extremely hospitable and well-maintained. Staff are upbeat and helpful. The park is virtually alongside Interstate 10, and there is a constant murmur of road noise. We stayed at this RV Park for one night in November and left the 5th wheel for the month of December and stayed one more night. The owners are more than friendly, the campground is very clean, very secure and dogs are more than welcome. The sites, all pull-thrus, are quite level. It is close to Interstate 10 and Interstate 75; and there are two gas stations close (diesel available). Cable and Wi-fi are available but the Wi-fi did not really work there either days. I am giving the campground an 8 because we really like the campground and would stay here again. The only drawback in December was the noise from Interstate 10 at night because we kept our windows open. We didn't notice the noise in November, I would imagine, because our AC was running. The owners of this Passport America park are very nice, and quick to respond to a problem. My only problem was I needed a hammer to open my truck cap handle which jammed. One reason I really like this park is they have a fenced area where dogs can run and play, off leash, while I sit on a comfortable bench. I also really enjoy having Wi-Fi and seek out parks that offer it. I've stayed there before and I'll stay again. It is near I-10 but with the a/c running I couldn't hear any traffic noise. They seem to have fixed the Wi-Fi and we had a very good signal the last couple of times we stayed here. And it's free. The cable TV is great and even has HD stations up at the higher channels. Park is close to I-10 and that is convenient to get in and out of but because it is near the interstate you get a lot of road noise. Its a good overnight park in the unshaded area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Fine for an overnight stop but pretty noisy this close to the interstate. Sites are a bit narrow. We had to drag the picnic table off the patio to open our slide. They were parking us every other one so it wasn't a possible. Really nice office staff. Nice Passport America park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park close to I-10 & I-75. All roads in park are gravel. 20 sites are gravel and 47 are grass, all sites are close to level. You have space from site to site. Park has a number of nice trees to park under. Free WiFi worked very well with three systems in park. Ground layout was very nice to look at. Owners were nice at check in and take you to your site. Some road noise off I-10. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We only stayed one night on the way to central Florida. It was easy on and off I-10 and a little noisy due to the interstate. The hosts were very friendly and took us to our site. The site had a concrete slab and patio with a picnic table. The campground was very dog friendly even having an area where the dogs could run off leash. There were some seasonal sites which appeared to have been well looked after and clean. The washrooms were clean and large and found in the recreation/meeting hall. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been camping here since this campground was built in 2000. While all the owners have been nice, the present owners, have been the best. They work very hard at keeping the campground in tip-top shape, and someone is always around if you should need something. We will keep returning. We camped here in a Park Model. We stayed here one cold night. Kids and wife enjoyed playing pool and the Christmas decorations were an added enjoyment. The bad: Very close to I-10 and somewhat loud. I somewhat thought this might be the case prior to reserving. Park sites were a little tight but suitable for our needs. The good: Free excellant wireless internet access! Cable TV 50amp service. The lighting in the park is very nice. A convenient store is not on site but a gas station with milk, ice and beverages are at campground entrance. (Walking distance) I would camp here again but would try and locate away from I-10 if interstate noise is a problem for you. Fortunately our camper blocked most of it once closed up and inside. Was very cold that night. We have camped in a lot worse places and several better ones. The electronic conveniences and grounds keeping will keep us coming back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Hi. This place is great!!! I could not say enough about it: it is very very clean, nice shaded camp spots, 80 channels of cable, clean and nice new washers and dryers in a clean well lighted laundry room open 24 hours, a very clean clubhouse open 24 hours with coke machines and snack machines, a huge pool table, has nice clean showers and bathrooms with plenty of room, games and magazines of all sorts to use, the park has just the right amount of lighting at night "not to much or to little "just right", has 2 ponds with benches that you can sit and watch the large goldfish swim, has a nice large fenced in area that you can turn your dog a loose and let her run on the side of the park. The people that run the camp ground are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet; they will go over and beyond to make sure your stay there is one that you will remember as great. Clean and very quite park; I heard nothing at night except the crickets. This is a place, that if I need to go there again, I will be looking forward to the stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Passport America and Good Sam Park. Under new family ownership and management since October 2004. As noted in above review, park is close to I-10 but surprisingly there wasn't much noise. We slept with windows open and had no problem sleeping. The newer sites are long and level but narrower than older grassy sites, (around 20 feet wide). Enough room for slides and awnings, but close. All sites have cement pads, cable, wi-fi and 50 amp free. Very clean, well maintained and friendly owners. We will return We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Some of the nicest employees we have ever encountered. Park is being expanded with 40 or so new, very, very long pull-throughs, and concrete patios. Will be very nice when they finish. Would highly recommend this place. They go out of their way

I use your review in finding campgrounds all over and decided to check this campground
out. I found the management and staff to be very friendly and helpful. They were pet friendly and their sites are easy to get in and leave. They have someone who cooks meals a few nights a week and we tried it and the food was excellent for a $4.00 donation. Well worth the price for a great home cooked meal. We were told that the park is going through some major changes and look forward to coming again to see the changes and pool. Worth the stop! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park could be a nice place with different management and staff. The owners are RV'ers but absent most of the time it seems (never present on either of our visits). They have made great stides in expanding the park soon to be well over 100 sites with a nice clubhouse and Wi-Fi throughout the park but there are two sets of rules in the park. One for long term residents and one for everyone else. Dogs of long term residents including management are allowed to run free throughout the park without even the hint of supervision let alone someone to clean up after them, but if a "pile" of droppings is spotted on your site you will hear about it even if you don't have a pet! Twice, dogs from other sites jumped into our coach when we opened the door and we had to chase them back out and neither time was an owner in sight. They have meals served in the clubhouse 3-4 nights per week an arrangment they call Judy's Diner whereby you can purchase a meal for a $4-5 "donation". They use the word donation to get around health codes regarding restaurants etc., to which they would be liable if they charged a fee for the food. Children are allowed but not really welcomed as the managers like to "gossip" about the poor behavior of the kids in the park and seem to blame every evil that occurs, imagined or otherwise on them. We don't even travel with kids, but I feel sorry for any that do visiting this park. Finally, if you have a park that has expanded and allows tents, pop-ups and other units that are not self-contained, you need more then 2 toilet/shower combos in the park. There seemed to be quite a wait to even use a toilet in the morning with others in the shower at the same times. We have returned once to the park and hoped it had improved but we will not again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is more of a correction than a review. Based on the review that was submitted above ,
my wife and I decided to spend Thanksgiving weekend here. When we arrived we took one look at the place and left! This would be an ok stop over if you were
headed somwhere else. You could literally throw a rock and hit a semi as it was going by on I-10! People need to be honest with their reviews , The one above sounds like it was written by the campground owners. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We literally stumbled across this campground, on the internet, while shopping for a winter snowbird retreat. Oaks 'N' Pines is located at the intersection of I-10 and 441 in Lake City, Florida. It is only about a year or two old. The owners are as nice as they come and they aim to please. During the winter months, there are cook-outs every Saturday night. Chicken and ribs are supplied and you bring a covered dish and utensils. There is a recreation hall for games, pool table, TV, puzzles and just about anything else you could want to keep one occupied. There are trees, shrubs, roses, etc. everywhere and there is a definite sense of pride and accomplishment when you talk to the owners and the employees about the campground and their plans for the future. Outdoor activities include: horseshoes, shuffleboard, walkin trails, etc. The atmosphere reflects the attitude of the owners and employees, that of friendliness and the feeling of satisfaction. Try them and I know you will be pleased. We camped here in a camper.

We stayed here for a one night stopover. The place is noisy. We stayed for the Passport America rate and my one big gripe is I think PA should mention in their add that there are almost 3 miles of Florida unpaved road to drive to get here. Not a place I would choose to come for a one night stopover again.Not a place I would choose to come after a big rain either as the lots are grass. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The road in is dirt and very dusty. We may as well have been in the I-75 rest stop, as we were less than 100 ft from the interstate, very noisy. Grassy sites, all pull-through. Water is not recommended as is not great quality. Sites are barely level (we had 1 wheel off the ground to get level). Only good for an overnight if you don't have any other choices. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We paid the Passport rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not recommended. It is way at the end of a dirt road. Just enough room to pass another wide RV. Deep water troughs on either side. When you arrive, there is no one here to greet you! You have to call ahead and some woman, not the owner, shows up to collect the money. No other campers in sight! Isolated and buggy. The water was yellow. No cable TV as advertized. We got our money back and left. I'd be surprised if they stay in business. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

Been checking on parks to spend our winter vacation in Lake City Florida over the summer and was emailing the owner of this park over the summer and she was very helpful even lowered the monthly rates for us ,so we decided to take a chance and go to the park. The week before we were to leave the owner emailed me and told me there was a problem with the satellite company and satellite might not be available when we arrived, also that there was no Wi-Fi available either, but because we needed to go to Florida to take care of business anyway we decided to go to the park anyway. We arrived at the park early in the day and it was hard to find the street the park was on, because there was no sign at the top of the road leading to the park, but we finally found the road leading to the park after passing it up twice. The road to the park was a long long narrow dirt road about 10minutes down from the main road. When we finally arrived at the park entrance there were only 3 campers there that were long term residents. The owners of the park were not there when we arrived, so we asked at one of the campers, were we should hookup and they told us just to choose a spot and the owners son usually comes by sometime throughout the day to collect rent. We hooked up and ran to town for food which was quite a ride. When we returned we asked the neighbor if the owner or her son had been by and they said no. So after sitting there and looking around the park we decided to leave and go elsewhere. There was not much to do at this park if you are not into outdoor activities in the area like the rivers or hunting. This park has no activities within the park, so if your looking for a park with activities like bingo, potluck dinners etc. don't choose this park. We would not choose this park again not enough to do for the price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park was easy to find off of I-75 with good directions listed on their web-site. They were just a little off the main road but not too far. We had found this park through Passport America. Seems like a family business and are just getting started with room for improvement. We only stayed overnight and missed out on enjoying the outdoor activities that were available. Roads are not paved but seemed well packed and we did not sink into the ground. We would definitely stay at this park again. This is a great big-rig overnight spot where you would not need to unhook. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
