Nice safe and quiet place to stay when visiting the Everglades. Bath house is old and worn but is usable. Wi-Fi is hit and miss. But you can't expect much in the wilderness. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We really loved this little campground. We had a great site right next to a pond with a nice shade tree and close to the bathhouse. The owners/operators were really nice and helpful. The wi-fi worked all the time up by the office, and we had pretty good reception at our site most of the time. In fact, we were able to watch Hulu and Netflix on our computers without interruption the nights we were there. The campground is in a fantastic area---very beautiful with a lot to do. Saw many, many alligators. Many seasonals, but they were all super friendly and helpful, too. It was quiet at night. Bathhouse is adequate; the showers were hot and free. Don't expect luxury here. Just expect to be greeted with a smile, to see some amazing sights, and to have a camping experience in a real "old timey" type Florida campground. Be sure to stock up on food supplies before you go in. Shopping choices are VERY limited in Everglades City, and you will have to drive to Naples to do any real shopping. There are a number of restaurants in town, however. We are planning to go back next year and explore the area more, and we are planning to stay at this cool little campground. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This is a basic campground in a terrific area. The Pole Boat Tour is a real gem, as is the Reptile and Bird area in the park. We enjoyed both immensely. I'd rate it higher, but it's a tired spot. The dumpster was never emptied in our five days here. There is no water available at the dump station, which was a great surprise. We would come back, however, since the area is so beautiful. All of the staff were friendly and most helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
