Very pretty county park with an RV park that looks like it was an afterthought. Roads are really narrow and windy, spots are short and the layout of the RV area makes for a very open, unprivate environment. We could only get water/electric hookup so had to shower in the bathrooms. Good water pressure but if more than one person was showering then the hot water ran out quick! Spiders and cobwebs up above made for a quick shower as well! Overall, an average park but the good rates made it worthwhile. Good proximity to Universal Studios and Epcot. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for two and a half weeks. This is a nice park. The RV area is at the end of interior road of the park. The road inside the RV area is a little tight in some areas and had some sharp potholes making it a bit tricky to get around. The park got very busy on a couple of weekends that we were here - a dog show one weekend and a regatta another which made the park a little hard to get in and out of. Bathrooms are older and in OK shape. Sites are a bit unlevel but workable. Grounds are well maintained. Laundry was adequate but one dryer was broken so competition for machines was a bit high. Security gate locks at night but they give you a code to get in. Ours did not work the first night but the after hours person was reachable via phone and we got back into the park after about a 10 minute wait. Staff seem very nice and helpful. Verizon 4G service was decent to good here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

What a nice park. The City of Orlando should be commended. The park is well laid out and easy to navigate with big rigs. The park has many activities in a very spacious setting. The CG is easy to maneuver and sites are easy to back into. Many of the sites were full hookup. The bath houses were clean, but in need of some fixing-up. The CG had an openness about it with a lot of grass. Different from many other CG's we have been to. The location is perfect for anyone wanting visiting the area or simply just wanting to get away for a few days. Only a couple of down sides; the park does not allow any camp fires and the dump station is on the main route out of the CG with no room to pass around. But for the price, activities in the park and a great setting, these can be over looked. Will stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice campground, most sites are large and have trees/brush in between. Most have some shade especially the ones on numbers on the outside loop (sites 26, 28, 29 & 31). You can reserve a spot, but not a specific site. Nice picnic tables. Hard packed sand is the only drawback; it gets the RV sandy. Restrooms are modern, kept clean. There are 3 large showers in the bathrooms. It is quiet during the week, but lots of kids on the weekend. Some sites had more than their allotment of people camping on the same site. Sandhill cranes wander into campsites. We brought our canoe, but the lakes are fairly large; not the best for canoeing. Several motorboats and jetskis on the lakes. I wish the canal connecting the two lakes was longer as that was nice to canoe. Excellent boat ramps including a separate one for kayaks/canoes and another area for motorboats. Lots of people fishing - we didn't catch anything. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We thoroughly enjoyed this park. Lovely clean restrooms and external areas. Very long sites and plenty wide enough for slides. Fire rings and picnic tables for each site. And also very quiet at night. We were here during the week so it would be interesting to compare weekends. Easy commute to all the attractions of Disney, shops and other activities. We had two seniors and another adult and the cost was $17.00 per night which was the senior rate with no additional cost for the extra person. We will definitely be back in the near future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped in site #23. You pick your site when you get there.Sites fit even the largest RVs. Rules aren't followed though about how many people or vehicles can be on a site. We saw 8 tents and about 40 people on one site right next to the park host. They probably rented the right amount of sites but all set up on the same one.Sites have fire ring and grill with picnic table and all packed limestone with poles ringing the site. Bathhouses are clean and large in center of loop. There are 4 family sites that will hold 3 families with 18 people. We swam in the lake which was still cold in April. The water is tea colored due to the cypress trees in the lake. Lots of boaters here but you cannot rent a canoe or kayak. Lifeguards only in summer time. We did the FL Orienteering Club's event on this weekend. Was quite warm but had a good time hiking in the Split Oak Forest. The park host has put together a film about the wildlife in the park and he shows it on Saturday nights in the Fall and Winter seasons. stores are pretty close. A Publix grocery is 7 miles away as well as restaurants. Was able to get many local TV stations and phones worked fine here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here just to try it as we usually stay at the KOA in Kissimee. The park is very pretty as it is on a big lake. The pull through sites are hard to get in and out of. The higher priced premium sites are located next to the store and the pool, no views, no yard, better sites with the standard pull through rate. The dog park is the best one we have ever used. The pool is supposed to be open until dark, but ourselves and two other families were asked to leave on two consecutive nights around 6pm because they wanted to clean the pool before dark. Our kids were very disappointed. Park is very quiet. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very family friendly and pet friendly campground. The highlights of the campground are the heated pool and the K9 park. The pool was clean and the warm water was welcome at the end of December. The K9 park is spacious and great for some off-leash time for friendly pooches. The water pressure seemed low, the Wi-Fi was very slow, some of the cable stations had no sound, and the electrical seemed underpowered, but the campground was packed perhaps leading to an overload of the systems. Our campsite was on the lake and the sunrise view is spectacular. The store had all the necessities for forgotten items from fishing, swimming to groceries. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed for four days and were sad to be leaving. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate was for lake front and included two extra adults and one child, also KOA member discount. Very quiet, well run campground. KOAs are expensive but we knew the cost going in and there were no surprises or adders. Considered it to be a good value considering space was right on the lake bank with a spectacular sunrise. Only problem we had was the site was concrete strips rather than full pad. Hard to levels and stabilize as jacks fell on soft ground between the strips, or worse yet, fell half on and half off the strips. Full pads are available and we will try to get one the next time. Good Wi-Fi, 20 channel cable TV, gravel roads but well maintained. Garbage picked up on regular basis through out the day. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
