Beautiful park. Friendly staff. Great beach access. Narrrow roads and lots of low hanging branches. Not really big rig friendly no matter what the staff says. Our site totally flooded after an all night rain. I am talking at least 4 inches of water. Probably will not go back in a big rig. If you have a tent or pop up - go for it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I tell everyone I know about this campground for several reasons. The staff was extremely helpful, the site we had was huge and it backed right up to the ocean. We woke every morning to dolphins swimming right off our site and a huge bird sitting at our front door waiting to be fed! We loved the beach and were able to rent a kayak that allowed us to float directly over a pod of manatee. The only draw back to this park were the overwhelming amount of raccoon, but they were actually quite comical to watch. I can't say enough about the beautiful beaches adjacent to this campground. It is also in a great location for day trips to all of the surrounding areas and the view of the bridge at night was fantastic. What a great campground and a great experience visiting it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a very nice park. Given the prior reviews, I had high expectations for this park. Most of them were met. My biggest concern was the bathrooms. They were old in need of repair and not clean. In the ladies room there was fecal matter in the shower. It was not good. The sites are private and there are some very nice water front sites. The path/loop we stayed in was tight for larger trailers. One other concern was traffic layout. In our loop the exit put you back on the main road and we had to come back into the park entrance to go to the dump station. That was just awkward. I would have preferred to stay on the campground to the dump station. Prices seemed kind of high in the camp store based on my experience at State Parks and other camp grounds that had camp stores. I would come back again, but would only get a water front site, as this seems to be the best part of the campgrounds. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
