Well the place is quiet: except I kept hearing the dueling banjo music. The drive up to the place was bumpy rutted sand. We pulled up in front of mobile home that had seen better days. The guy who came out had a dazed look and T-shirt that was more holes than shirt and gave me vague directions back to the site, just go to site 25. That was our first problem there were only 15 sites. So we found a site that would work and checked under the trash can to find the water and electric. Water worked fine but the was an open ground on the 50 amp hook up and no breaker to turn it on and off. We checked 2 other sites and found the same thing. So we packed up and went down the road. However the Verizon MiFi worked fine. If they get the electrical fixed and bring it up to code this place might be just fine. But I think I'd keep hearing that banjo music. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This one is special! Back to nature is what you get. A few miles off the interstate and off any other road you will experience how quiet a campground can be. The sites are dirt and fairly level, most are shaded by trees. Lots of space on the site and to the neighbors. We had electric and water hookup and used the dump station at the entrance. The way in and out is extremely bumpy, lots of deep potholes and one terrible negative speedbump, so you want to drive REALLY slowly. However, we made it without breaking any dishes and loved our stay here. The washrooms were very basic but appeared to be clean. Laundry was just fine, we didn't expect any for that cheap rate. We would love to find more campgrounds like this one for a stopover night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Back to Nature Campground is just as it sounds. You camp in the trees overlooking 2 ponds for fishing. The owners were friendly and helpful in taking us to our site and in finding services. The play equipment for the kiddos is excellent. I would rate them higher had there been sewer at the site. We would stay here again as it is very quiet and we will recommend it to others.
