The sites are full hookup with 6 sites for smaller RVs, or perhaps 2 or 3 large RVs, and the other sites are of various sizes. One site is 50Amp, the rest are 30Amp. They hope to offer Wi-Fi internet next year. Management is quite helpful and friendly. There are also numerous cabins available as well as some seasonal renters. The laundry is very nice and reasonably priced. Every site has a view of the Clark Fork River. There is a clubhouse and a large community fire pit. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very small park that we have used over the summer season for a number of years. It's price has gone up and the quality has gone down. There is no effort made on the park management to have any activities. The boat launch is not available for the park tenants. The park management has rules for its friends, and separate rules for everyone else. The occupants of the park had a bbq which they held out of the park due to the hostility level of the park management. The price reflects a monthly rate of $450 and for a park with no activities, no facilities, etc. There are many alternatives with much better facilities and a happier environment for the same price. You are even expected to cut your own grass on the site. A number of the seasonals from past years are not coming back due to the atmosphere. I cannot in good conscience recommend this park except for short term visitors. I have been on the road for fourteen years and this is the worst hostile environment I've ever encountered. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very hospitable and well run, small campground. Extremely pet friendly including a fenced area for dogs. Only a few riverfront sites but a spot to put one's chair and enjoy the river. Even has a clothesline and clothespins for laundry. It would be a ten if it were not near a private airplane landing strip (not heavily used nor offensive) and had better cell phone reception. A little hard to find since local ordinance prohibits roadside signs. Worth the drive. I will return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This little out-of-the-way campground was a refreshing change from our poor experience at Beyond Hope Resort beforehand. We only really needed a place to sleep in our RV, since we visited family during the day elsewhere. River Lake was the perfect choice, with great rates and a friendly staff. No playground or any amenities, but it was close to the lake and a nice, quiet place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
