We are at Torrey's as I write this. We have always stayed in a Forest Service campground, but fires have them all closed. So, we ended up at Torrey's. Glad we did!!! We have a great view of the river and lots of green grass for our pups to play on. We have Internet, but no cell. Gives us a reason to go to Stanley to make calls, love it here and plan on coming back next year. The owners are very nice and keep the grounds well manicured. The price of an RV spot is so reasonable considering the mountain views all around, watching the horses play and having the river at your door. We keep extending our stay, just hate to leave. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice RV spot, about 20 miles east of Stanley, and 14 miles west of Clayton. The website claims 20 sites but we only 10 or so. Didn't see 50 amp service either. The sites are nicely separated, but fully exposed to sun, no shade. This is a big cow pasture with full hookups. Don't plan on using your cell phone, television, or radio...unless you have satellite. This is actually a very good place to stay while rafting or fly fishing on the Salmon River, and this camp has sites overlooking the river. Nice and quite and the management is very accommodating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
