A tight spot for us. We arrived after dark, but didn't have too much trouble with getting setup. Friendly staff, and everything worked as expected. Wi-Fi was fine in our site in the B section. This was good for an overnight stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our site was not level; had huge holes in the dirt. The site was not very wide and difficult to get into. We would not recommend anyone staying here with a big rig. Not every site has 50 amp service or sewer hook-ups. The nice grassy sites DO NOT have either 50 amp or sewer hook-ups. It used to be a KOA which is evident; but no longer. We since have spoken to some people that live in Idaho Falls and word around town is that the new owners have really let it go down hill. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed only one night. Our site was level and had grass and gravel. No Wi-Fi here and the swimming pool was ice cold! They do have a hot tub as you need it after that pool dip. Staff seemed confused as to our arrival date: they called on day we were to arrive and asked if we had stayed the night before. On arriving someone was learning the system for check-ins. It was easy to get back on the freeway. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed here one night. The staff was friendly. As far as the RV park: it really needs alot of tender loving care. Our site was very uneven; I guess at one time there was grass, all we had was patches of grass with weeds, and lots of dirt. The sites really need to be cleaned up. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A former KOA park, this park is nice, clean and has a very helpful and friendly staff. The sites are plenty long but a bit narrower than some. It is the first park we've stayed at that has door to door parking. We felt it took away some privacy and room. I see the economics (fewer power and water runs). The site was slightly not level left to right but good front to rear. We will stay again on our next trip. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed 3 nights. Each morning they have a pancake breakfast for $2.50 with free coffee. Very nice owners and a pleasant place to stay. Will stop here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The spaces were a bit close to each other and the pool was very cold. The park makes a good travel stop because it is close to interstate and not far from groceries and restaurants. The staff was friendly and they were selling a hot dog dinner for a few bucks. They also have a small store that sells soda's and snacks. We camped here in a Motorhome.
What a sad little park. The best thing is the location to downtown and freeway access. There are many full time residents and it shows. We would wake up to other people's dog mess in our yard, no fun at all. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a good park for an overnight. The sites are a bit snug for a big rig but adequate. The staff is professional and helpful. All you can eat pancakes served every morning. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The pool was freezing cold, even the kids couldn't stay in for long. The park is nice but sites are close together. Employees were nice too. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We called almost a week in advance for a 50 amp pull thru site. They said they only had 30 amps available but would note 50 amps and if anything changed they would change our site. We arrived early in the afternoon and were given a 30 amp site and told no 50's were available. Then people came in after us with no reservations and got 50 amp sites. We had no picnic table, no fire ring. The grass was not well cared for in most of the sites. The only good thing I can say about this park is they did have plenty of space to walk pets as well as a small designated dog walk area which had nicer grass than our site. It is just about the worst park we have stayed in during our six months on the road. There is also a fertilizer factory across the street. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This RV park used to be a KOA. Staff at the front desk we not friendly, even a little sarcastic. The pool was freezing! So cold it was not usable and the filter was not working too well because there were a lot of little bugs floating. The sites are very close together. The dog walk area was just a couple of posts (not really a fence) and a couple of rocks. The book exchange that most RV parks have was empty but suspiciously they did have used books for sale in the store area for $3.99. Park was fairly clean just too many people crammed in. I would try to find somewhere else before I stayed here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were first assigned a full hookup site with 30 amps in the "E" row. The sites were close together, the road was not very navigable, and, although they said we could get in and out of the space with the car attached (we have a 38' motorhome), trees and close proximity to other rigs made that impossible so we had to unhook. It was after we hooked up that we realized we only had 30 amps... we had requested 50 amps. We requested to be moved, and we were readily accomodated. We were moved to row B on the other side of the park. We got 50 amps (no sewer, but we didn't need it) and the ambience was much nicer. The spaces were still hard to navigate with a tow because of trees poorly placed on the site, but they were much wider and nicer than the row "E" were originally put in. The wifi was good, the water pressure good, and the hookups were convenient. I would stay here again (for only one night) but make sure I got in the "B" or "C" row. The area is well maintained and very clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great place except very full. I am traveling with another couple and we have been traveling the area for the last couple of weeks and stayed at several in the area. We really like this one. While staying at one in Rexburg we had wireless internet access at Rainbow Lake, I didn't see nor ask for it here. Me and my friends both wrote reviews for this area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice well maintained RV Park. I go to Yellowstone Park, Island Park and the Ashton areas several times a year. I always stay here or Rainbow Lake in Rexburg when traveling through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Good overnight stop. Nice helpful staff. A little tricky to find, follow the little blue camping signs. Its an old KOA with lots of cabins and tent spaces. Fairly easy pull thrus. Trees are trimmed back like they should be accept for the bushes by the driveway. Several permanent trailers that could be cleaned up a little. Super Wal-Mart and lots of restaurants nearby. We ate at O'Bradys which is a local eatery with a senior menu. We had a good meal for less than $8. A rare find these days! We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We found this park to be an excellent overnight park. Good local TV stations & WiFi worked great, so there was no need to set up either satellite dish. WalMart & restaurants are conveniently located nearby. Office staff were very pleasant. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The park is older former KOA. It is nothing fancy but is okay for an overnight stay or a few days. Access to park is a little tricky. Sites are gravel with grass on each side. Pull throughs are large enough for 40' motor home and toad. Wi-Fi free and worked good. We stayed overnight and would stay again. Management very friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is ok for an over night this time of year. The lawn areas were a little long and not very well maintained. Sites were fairly close together but reasonably level. I couldn't imagine staying here in mid summer with many more visitors occupying all the spaces. I think I would get a little claustrophobic. Wi-Fi worked well. I would probably seek out another park if I returned to the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Snake River RV Park is an acceptable park. It is definitely an old KOA and the arrangement for using the dump station leaves a lot to be desired. The office staff was extremely friendly and checked me in quickly. The sites are closer together than I prefer but fairly well laid out and close to level. A small grass area and a table are at each site. There are a number of folks that are obviously staying long term. The park itself was quiet but you could hear freeway noise most of the night. Their directions say the turnoff is ¼ mile from the stop sign when coming off I-15 Northbound. It is much more than that. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Former KOA. Entry to the sites is VERY congested. Not all sites have sewer. If you have to dump your tanks and get a site with no sewer, the only dump station is right out front of the office and you will block ALL traffic into and out of the RV park while you dump. Not very well thought out. WIFI worked well. We would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Average park. Gravel sites, mostly level, and a little tight. Power is 123 volts and holding. Water pressure is fine. Roads are narrow, and maneuvering is only a bit tricky. Since it is named Snake River RV, one would hope to see some water, but no. Friendly and quick check in. Pool is empty and taped off. Some permanent residents, who have expanded their site into others; typical. Long term residents also like to cut through sites, both empty and occupied. Not bad for an overnight; just don't have high expectations. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Folks at the reservation desk not very competent. They messed up my dates and I did not get full hook ups. Asked me how to spell my name five times. Not just me, they made the guy next to me move because they put him somewhere and then they discovered they needed his site. Friday and Saturday nights the nearby hispanic dance hall plays loud music until 2 in the morning. I will stay some place else next time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We love this place. Our site did not have sewer, but I knew that going in. When I called to make the reservation, I told the agent I had 4 little kids. The site we got was perfect. It was 20' from the (great) playground. The site was grassy, had a fire pit, and was level. The park had an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for $2, which looked like an ongoing thing. The store was cool, with lots of unique Idaho kitsch. We used the dump station by the entrance on the way out. Only negative: if you are going to arrive late, take a flashlight! The signs for the sites are impossible to see without one at night. We'll definitely stay here again if we're in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet, conveniently located and was a great gateway to the Tetons or Yellowstone. It also is close to WalMart and other shopping centers as well. The owners are very nice people and really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. My coach was so disgustingly dirty they allowed me to wash it which I thought was really nice of them. The water pressure is awesome and the electric voltage right on the money. The site was grassy with a picnic table. The park overall was clean and orderly. We would surely stay here again if we are in the area. Nice place to visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park. Clean, level gravel pads with some grass. It was very hard to find. No signs along road or on streets nearby due to city regs. DUMB. Garmin is misleading but once we got on track, it took us right to it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Gravel interior roads and sites with some grass. Some sites clear enough for satellite TV. WiFi works great. Office manager very helpful. Some sites don't have sewer, but there is central dump station. Easy access using Exit 118 from north and 119 from south off I-15. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Stayed here for one night. Agree with other reviews, owners are making a strong attempt to improve the campground. Had done much watering (so much that my dolly legs sunk in 8" and dropped the trailer on the bed when pulling out). Ended up staying hooked up to the truck because I couldn't find a firm enough spot to drop the trailer. Looked like a small number of permanent residents but seemed to keep their spot in good condition. Staff, believe they were the new owners, were extremely helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park has new owners. They are putting forth a lot of effort to improve it from the previous owners, especially the grounds (grass & roads). They were doing a lot of watering. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean. We stayed here 3 nights and would stay again if in the area. It would be nice if more sites had sewers to prevent a potential traffic jam. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
An old KOA park that is living up (down) to the KOA reputation. The roads are narrow and there was a major traffic jam between RV’s leaving and arriving as well as just cars/trucks trying to maneuver through the park. The dump station is right by the entrance and blocks everyone’s paths. We have sworn never to stay at a KOA park again. If we had known that this was a former KOA park, we would not have stayed here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park used to be a KOA and was allowed to deteriorate badly. The new owners are working feverishly to make it a model campground. They have a way to go but are constantly working on it. They have just installed a wi fi access for free, the grounds are really nice and well groomed, the pool is clean, the hot tub is clean and fully functional. At the rate of improvements in progress the ratings will easily reach 9 or 10 in the near future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We only stayed because the driver was tired & because we needed a KOA night - big mistakes. Since Jan 2005, it's no longer Idaho Falls KOA, but they'll get the benefit of the listings for another year. They haven't replaced any of the signs on roads coming in to identify turns. We had just a W/E hookup out of the trees so the satellites worked, but we are giving up KOA for good - even ones that aren't any more. The front desk was mostly nice, even tho they almost sneered about us wanting a satellite to work - we're fulltimers, not campers! The parking was all on grass; it had rained lately and it was soft. The exit was tight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This place was spooky to us. Junky looking, really dilapidated run down permanent "rigs" (some will never move again). We would have left except we were meeting friends. We were given a supposed 50 amp site but it was only 30 amp, don't even know if they have 50 amps. The manager knew nothing about RV's and very, very little about his small park. Would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We chose this park because it is close to the Military Store. The campground was clean - close to the hwy. We had a nice stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
this park was south of Idaho Falls, right near the huge Army Surplus Store (husband loved this). I was surprised at how quiet it was even being near the off ramp. Wi Fi was not available at the far end of the campground even though I was told it was. This is an OK place to set up for an overnight stay. Was a bit smelly due to proximity to the fields (manure I think) but the wind shifted and it was fine. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Cost was too much but not much around that area. Clean and tidy. Staff was great they even show you to the site b¥ escort. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park's sites had long pull-thrus with easy access. Most sites had concrete patios and some shade. The Cable TV was good as was the WiFi. It was the first time we had ever encountered good free WiFi service at our site at a KOA. The location of the park was convenient to Twin Falls' major shopping areas. One drawback to the location, however, was the noise from major construction going on adjacent to the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is no longer a KOA. They didn't have any new signs up when we stayed - we had trouble finding it. The store/gift shop area appeared to have been recently stripped, but the change in ownership is almost a year old. Parking is all on grass, which is good unless it has been raining. Lots of permanent residents, especially in the back corners. Very tight corner getting out. We won't stay here again in our big rig. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Was not overly impressed but not much available in the area. It is a long ways to the Wal-Mart if you are thinking of spending the night there. The staff was helpfull with directions to stores. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical, limited space KOA. Be careful that they don't slip a vehicle in behind you as there are two sets of hookups in one pull-through site. Most of the shelves in the store were empty. Possibly more seasonals than overnighters in this park. Convenient to I-15. We camped here in a camper.

I totally agree with the previous comments. Also...they are located in an industrial area near a railroad track. Avoid if possible. If not possible, look around for a Walmart. We camped here in a camper.

$38.50 per night and no cable and no reception with your antenna. They also charge to use the modem in the office. This is a park with most spaces taken by fulltime renters with run down trailers. The dump is located at the exit and if someone is dumping, you can't get out of the park. Extremely overpriced. Not recommended even for an overnight stay. We camped here in a camper.
