A resort in the making but not quite there yet. If your focus is on rafting a beautiful river in some spectacular country this may work for you. As an RV campground for overnight or as a base for touring, not so much. Rates get you a grassy spot near a power post. Available water is marked Non Potable. If there is 50 amp we missed it. The 30 amp we had could not keep up with our A/C. Popped the post breaker repeatedly. Buildings are remnants of a bygone day, tired and worn. Despite being 2 miles North of I-90 it's amazing how much traffic noise there is. Having said all that the folks working to make a go of it are good hearted and hard working. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Don't be fooled by the "work in progress" when you drive in because this was the most awesome RV park I have stayed in. You get a nice safe quiet stay on a beautiful river. You could not find better food right there in the restaurant and there is alcohol to boot. The owner will go out of her way to make you right at home. I plan to return to stay in the guest rooms next time I fly in. The atmosphere is peaceful, fun, and relaxing. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground is listed in the Trailer Life Directory, but certainly should be avoided. It is hard to find, hard to navigate in and lacks decorum you expect for a minimal family park. I left early for lack of cell phone or Internet access and could not get a refund from owners. We camped here in a Motorhome.
