Very nice and quite primitive campground. Near the Snake River. Would recommend. Good place to camp for overnight and fishing. Bring bug spray the mosquitoes are bad. They have water you can pump. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
What a lovely little park! Nothing fancy but very pleasant. Large grassy sites with big shade trees. Nice little fishing shop. Owners are very nice and helpful. Peaceful setting, no traffic noise. Great Wi-Fi. Wish it had cable but, oh well. Nice area with beautiful scenery. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
What a gem of a place. Granted it’s not a diamond, but it is nice little sapphire. There are six gravel and level pull-thru sites with an ample grassy area between you and your neighbor. Three cabins are also available. The owners are on site and very pleasant and helpful. They take pride in the appearance and the place is as good as it could be. Wi-Fi is now throughout the park and I found it to be much better than most. Hookups are more than adequate. The sourpuss that made the previous post must have been nagged by his wife and didn’t have a dog to kick. Highway and road to the trash station do produce some noise, but I found it to be a minor annoyance that went away after dark. No cable and many trees so you have to do without TV. If you are a fly fisherman (I’m not) this area apparently is a mecca for that endeavor. If I’m ever back in this area I would love to stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I was told that the site would be satellite friendly and that we could get Wi-Fi at the site. Trees blocked our rooftop mounted dish from receiving a signal. Wi-Fi was only available at the office. The sites were 300-400 ft behind the office. With our roof top Wi-Fi antenna booster, I could pick up the signal, but it was way too weak to establish a link. The iPad could not find the campground's signal from our site (only at the office). I was told that next week, they plan to have a roof top Wi-Fi antenna installed. Railroad ties border each gravel pull-through site. The sewer connections are at least four feet outside the railroad ties and are about 6 inches above ground. So your sewer hose has to go over the ties and up to the sewer connection. Even though the sites are behind the office, Rt 26 road noise could be heard. Plus the side road bordering the campground on the north side goes to the local garbage dump, so it is a source of additional traffic and noise. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice and shady site but there was more noise than expected from the road nearby. The Wi-Fi worked just in front of the office. We stayed here for one night; was good for a stopover. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Wonderful little park. Great owners, great setting, good sized sites and nice landscaping. If you want a nice quiet little park, this is it. The only reason for the 9 instead of a 10 is the lack of cable and Wi-Fi at the site. But Wi-Fi is available in the store. We came for a few days and ending up staying three weeks. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very small and personal campground. Large sites both length and width. The sites are nicely shaded and grassed with gravel parking and picnic table. The views are spectacular. We stayed 6 nights and the 7th is free. Good Wi-Fi. The owners live on site and are very friendly. It is a little out of the way, but we used it as a central location to visit southeast Idaho. It is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed a little ahead of season so we had the campground to our selves most of the time. We definitely recommend this campground and would stay here again.
