We stayed here in the very depth of winter during a three day snowstorm. This campground is about 15 minutes from Galesburg, IL. We were glad to find this place at this time of year with full hookups! The park manager was very kind and accommodating - even when the water froze and he had to come out and dig it up. The pipe froze underground and he had to dig it up, bit it was fixed in less than half an hour. The road was plowed each day. We were the only campers out here, and the bathroom facilities were closed for the winter so can't speak to that. Not much to do here in the winter, but we enjoyed the quiet and the hills were great for kids sledding. The interior roads seem tight but we easily maneuvered our 35 ft motorhome. The place looks like it's been there awhile. There are some pieces of heavy equipment there by the Office and it won't pass as a resort spot, but nothing really objectionable. There were several large 5th wheels there - looked like folks came and went throughout the year (in good repair). Do not use your GPS directions to find this place - call and get directions! It's easy to find and just a few miles from I-74 but the roads have been changed and renamed in the area and the GPS directions are way off. We would go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
