Nice park for hiking and picnicing, but the campground is not ideal. Most sites are very unlevel and on grassy hills within a tall pine forest. The size of the sites makes most of them unsuitable for trailers/RVs, yet the unlevel terrain makes them unsuitable for tents as well. Also, the rangers did little to keep the noise down from other campers. While the bathroom had flush toilets and showers, there were far too few of them for the # of sites, and they were crowded and dirty as a result. I'd not camp here again, but will do a day visit. We camped here in a Tent.
We stayed here in August. They do have water available and a dump station. The shower building is fairly new and well maintained. There are trails to hike and a playground for children in the picnic area. There is also a lodge in the park with cabins and a restaurant. There is a creek flowing thru the park and fishing is allowed. The only negative is the train tracks at the back of the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
