This campground was fantastic. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. I forgot my water hose and one of the seasonal campers lent me one for the week we stayed. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we stayed for another week. The fishing was fantastic. We watched one fisherman reel in a 52-pound catfish which took him over an hour. The sites were nice: not too crowded but not overly large either. Over all, this was a great place to camp. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Everyone was very helpful. The campground was clean, alot of children playing, plenty of activities and friendly people. Fishing was outstanding, caught a 8 pound channel cat. Great family atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a great weekend. I am considering a permanent site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Keep driving. This place is a dump. Almost all of the sites are permanent or seasonal campers. The septic was full for our full hook up site--if you can call it a site. They sent a school bus equipped with a sewer pump and tank to pump out the septic--now that is a pleasant smell after dinner--Yuck! There are more golf carts than teeth in this campground. Keep driving--even if you are tired! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Let's just say, should you find yourself on the North side of St. Louis and very, very sleepy, you might want to stay here. Otherwise keep driving north. Large park with hundreds of shanty town trailers. A very scary shower. We camped here in a Motorhome.
