This is a 1,960 acre State park that is open all year long. The park is located in a rolling hill type setting, off US highway 51, just 2 miles north of the town of Ramsey. Of the 91 class A camp sites located in the White Oak section, approximately 40 of these sites are reservable. There also is one rental cabin in the park that enjoys a lake view. The one down side to the park is that there is only one camp shower/rest room building in the entire park, but water hydrants are located throughout the park. There also are two dump station located close to the main park entrance. The one hiking trail is 2 1/2 miles long, and quite hilly in spots. The Park also has an equestrian section, located in the Northern part of the park that has about 15 miles of wooded trails for the horse people. For Info Ramsey Lake State Park P.
