This park is part of the Winnebago County (Rockford, IL) Forest Preserve System. There are 4 parks that have campgrounds. They have water fill and dump station available. THERE IS NO BATH HOUSE but there were toilets. We did not use them, so we are not sure if they were flush or pit. The sites are huge and very secluded in the woods. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They have volleyball, horseshoes, a playground and baseball diamond nearby. We are looking forward to trying the other 3 campgrounds in the near future. This one is located near shopping, grocery, gas, etc. just north of Rockford, IL. It is a very great deal for the money and unlike the State Parks, there is no alcohol prohibition. We camped here in a Motorhome.
