Fairly priced with good people, and affordable amenities. It was a clean park, and we were very satisfied, so would go back again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Overall we liked this campground. It has a lot to do for families. There is a nice pool, small swimming pond, a river to fish or canoe and a couple of playgrounds with sturdy equipment. We also liked how wooded the campground was. For tent campers I thought the sites were great. They offered a lot of privacy and there we sites for large groups and small groups. However, for us (in a 25' trailer) it was difficult to park and get around in the campground. The sites are somewhat elevated from the road and I needed to get a running start to get the trailer up over the bump. We also had to ask our neighbors to move their cars so that we could get out when we were leaving. The wood we got was oak but very wet. We gave up trying to get it started the first night (it started after we went to bed). Even though it is a tight fit for us we would definitely go back. The pool, the activities (horseshoe tournament, corn boil, etc.) and the playgrounds all made for a pretty nice family atmosphere. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Watch for signs to this campground. Roads are all gravel and very dusty. Sites are hard to get into if your RV is 32' or bigger. There are only 10 sites for RV's and the rest are tent camping. Park is mainly seasonal sites. A majority are very messy and cluttered. Electricity did not have enough voltage to run air conditioners. You have to pay $10.00 extra each night for children 16 years or older. Even if they are staying in your RV. Guest have to pay $10.00 and children under 9 are free. There are no pull-thru sites in this park. If you stay more than one night the fee is $30.00 but if you are staying only one night it is $32.00. You cannot bring in your own firewood, you have to purchase theirs for $5.00 a bundle. We will not come back to this park because of the electrical problems. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
