The campground is some distance from the main conference center/office. We were able to pull into the office area and get turned around ONLY because cars were not parked at the end of the lot near the lake. Otherwise, we'd have been forced to unhook our toad and jockey the motorhome around to get out of the office area. The number signs on the sites are side-by-side. I.e., if you're on site 24, do not mistake the sign for sites 2 & 4 as 24 (we did). Water and power hookups are between every other campsite. So, the posts are shared - thus the site numbers for two sites on one post. A short narrow drive in turns right to find about a dozen campsites on both sides of the road. After crossing a culvert, traffic flows to the left where you find the playground and bath house located in a central circle with the campsites around the perimeter. Parking is restricted to the gravel at the campsite. But, if you have a 30' or longer camper, you'll be parking beside your site or across the way in the central circle / playground / bathhouse area. This makes navigating the road interesting for larger rigs with toads. It's downhill from the entrance so, if it's raining and you're in one of the sites located furthest in, you're going to be in ponding water. The campground has trees for every site. Shade is not a problem near the campsites. We never made it over to the lake. So, we cannot comment on that area. We had reservations and new what site we were assigned. We stayed to visit family in the area and would stay again. Just be aware that it's easier to use the tow/toad to get registered than it is to pull the whole rig up to the office location. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is part of a non denominational Church Retreat facility. The campgrounds itself is a short drive or walk to the actual retreat area that has beach access, additional playground equipment, and some sporting equipment such as basketball courts and volley ball nets. The campground area is very clean and well maintained. The playground equipment was a bit old, but OK for a weekend stay. Not a lot to do at the campgrounds, but a good place for a quiet weekend. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
