Nice park except the wifi is at a crawl during the busy times. Some sites are suitable for satellite. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We did a quick overnight here on our way home from Iowa. We were on I-80 and pulled into the campground fairly late. Bob opened up the office and quickly got us checked into a level, pull-through site with a Good Sam discount. We were parked, hooked up, showered, and sleeping in no time. I looked around a bit in the morning and the campground was very nice. I discovered there was a great WiFi connection though I didn't remember seeing that in the ad. It was WiFi for the campground though. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice campgrounds although they need to plant trees in the newer part of the park. Also they just went through (in the part of the park We stayed in) & put in all new Elect., water & sewer. (very nice) We stayed here in a 5th Wheel. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a month to get our trailer repaired, and stay for the 4th holidays. The Sites are level, services are good. The water is well water and has a lot of iron in it. Will stain things use with the water and has a smell in the mornings. This is a great place to stay. WiFi is weak but we full time and use a Sprint air card which has a good signal. Directv is good and so is local tv. We will stay here anytime we come to Elkhart. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy on/off from Toll Road. Some shade, but most sights in open field. Would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were here for a few nights to do the RV museum & plant tour thing. Friendly people. Bumpy CG roads keep the speed down like it or not. WIFI works well. A little difficult to find coming from the east. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent location for day tours to the surrounding Amish towns.The park is huge but very neat. The owners were wonderful. Good place to camp with the family pets also. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is easy to move a 40 foot MH towing a car around in this park. Some shade would be nice--- It is a good place to headquarter to see the RV industry and museum. Owner was friendly and anxious to help us with directions. We used our Escapees membership for a 15% discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a Good Sam park so rate shown is before the discount. This is an enormous campground with sites of every type. I wish they had more shade. We stayed for one night in a grassy, full sun area. It is definitely handy to the RV/MH Hall of Fame and all the manufacturers. RVs of every kind can fit in this place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We used our Good Sam discount and were here with a group for a pre-rally. We have been here before and have enjoyed our stay. Very nice owners and very close to RV Museum, factories and Amish Country. Level sites and they are grassy also. Some areas are close together, new power being upgraded in sections. Not too bad for an overnight. Site was in the open field area. Hookups left something to be desired. Appears to be let go downhill. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in July 2007. Have stayed here before. The owners do speak EXCELLENT english and are very friendly. The grounds are a little unkempt. Otherwise an OK park. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We only stayed here 1 night. Sites were a bit narrow, but the park was not even close to full, so we didn't have people on either side of us. Easy to get around. Very nice people working there. Far enough off the tollway so that it wasn't noisy. Well maintained. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

25608 County Rd 4 East. Elkhart 46514. 574-264-2914. They are working at increasing the size to up to 800 sites. We only stayed overnight and it was fine for us. Saw no rule prohibiting the use of washer/dryer, we used ours. It seems close to town and there is a lot to do in Elkhart but we were just passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

WiFi works sporadically - not very much signal strength from the back rows where those staying only a couple of days are put. They have a statement that if you have a washer/dryer in your RV, you're not allowed to use it! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice large clean park. They have a very poor laundry room. It was dirty and only 4 washers for such a big park. They also didn't seem to be in any rush to get the pool open. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are very narrow on dirt or grass. Entire place, although clean enough, needs sprucing up. Staff not really friendly. Good spot for rv factory tours. Amish, Mennonite area so everything is closed on Sunday. Shipshewana has flea market and nice shops but is 20 miles from here and remember, everything is closed on Sunday. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My first impression of this place was good. It was flat with lots of trees. The office staff was friendly but they are from India and have a hard time understanding and speaking the English language although check in was painless. The interior roads are good gravel with grassy sites. The grass was a little high in spots and looks as though it hasn’t seen water in weeks especially around the few long term residence. All sites are pull through and easy to get into with a big rig. They are long enough to handle a 40 footer with tow attached. They don’t give you a lot of width but I had both slides out and all my awnings and still had plenty of room. We were set up with minimal leveling. They have a pool which has seen better days but it is usable. There is a blacktop basket ball court with many cracks and weeds growing up through. The miniature golf looks as if it was built in a weekend by an amature carpenter. The sand volley ball court looked ok. There is a minimal stocked store, rec room, and 1 modem hookup in the office area. I didn’t use the restrooms so I can’t comment on them. Although it is a few blocks away from the interstate you can hear it at night but not enough to be an issue otherwise the park is quiet (no trains). Generally this park isn’t all that bad. I would recommend it. It does appear to be an old KOA by the looks of the office building. We stayed for 5 nights and felt safe and comfortable. There is a Wal-Mart Supercenter close by for all your needs. It is close to the Elkhart Visitor’s Center, RV museum, and some factory tours. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty park with lots of grass, and shade trees. It was very crowded because of the Escapees Fall Escapade. We didn't have full hook-up because of so many people there. Some spaces are large, but not many tables around. We had a large space under trees, but some are very close. We received a discount using our Escapees membership card. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Close to many RV factories, Amish country and other interesting tourist attractions. Sites are level and spacious and room for groups and big rigs. Large meeting hall for groups. Clean and well kept facilities. We have visited this campground previously and have never been disappointed. Also close to brand new Camping World 2004. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners really were visible in helping out and making you feel welcome. There are a few seasonals who are also very welcoming. My largest complaint was that some of the sites (ours) were quite narrow, and making a fire, even for smores seemed to be a risky endeavor if there was a unit next door. Neighborhood kids seemed to be a problem also as the pool, though stated "open", was padlocked to keep them out. They also hung out at the playground, unsupervised, and seemed to be a problem for the owner. If we were to visit again, I'd check to be sure that my site was one of the wider ones. Convenient cg when visiting one of the nearby RV facilities. No road noise. Level sites though somewhat narrow. Pull thrus handled 40' 5th and toter though one should pay attention, when pulling in, to how you are going to get out if the site in front of you becomes occupied. Office modem hookup has a dedicated desk and chair. Have seen owners go above and beyond the call in efforts to please guests. We've stayed there 1-2 times per year for the past 5 yrs. Park open April 1st thru November 1st. Site length adequate for big rigs, but can be a tight squeeze upon departure if the rig in the row in front of you is long, or has the tow vehicle parked behind it (which was the norm). Good interior roads, but, like the sites, not extremely wide. (245) pull-thrus. We camped here in a camper.
