This was a funky little cg on the outskirts of Hartford City. GPS took us on a rather convoluted, circuitous route to get there, easier to just drive into Hartford City and turn left. The park has a lot of permanents and two small lakes. The dump site was totally inaccessible to us in our 33' rig and there were no sewer hookups at our site, so we left without dumping (we only stayed one night). Our site was a pull thru, at the end of a 'row', but there were several overgrown trees lining the site, which made it difficult to pull into. We would not return to this campground. It was OK for an over nighter. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice place to camp, we stayed for 3 nights in site #55 which is right by one of the "lakes" which has a small island with two big weeping willow trees in the middle of it with a pretty bridge you can walk across to get to. It was so pretty. My husband caught several decent sized catfish while fishing in the lake. They also have another small pond with a swimming beach, mini-golf, live country music, church service, etc. I rated this an 8, since I do feel that it needs a few updates, like adding an additional modern restroom/shower house, and possibly a pool, otherwise I would give it a 10! The owners are so nice, and the guests were also very friendly. It is out in the middle of the country, north of Hartford City. So peaceful and quiet, we will definitely return! We camped here in a Tent.
