Nice manager, but the good things stop there. Remote location, deserted except for teenagers having beer parties all night along the pond shore. Bath houses do not have doors. There was no garbage dumpster, you are expected to "take it with you". The fishing dock sank during the night we were there. The owner also has a restaurant next door and evidently little money is spent improving or even maintaining the park We camped here in a camper.
This little park built by the Davis Co. Conservation Board is a gem! 12 fairly level gravel & grass sites, all pull-through. The 4 sites on the perimeter are suitable for any size rig. Picnic tables, fire rings, 30/50 amp electric and good water. Clean and new bath-house. If there were a dump on site, it would be darn near ideal! We meant to only overnight here, but instead decided to stay 4 days. A number of ponds with bass, bluegills and crappie dot the area, with lots of trees and pleasant walks. Two beautiful cabins are also available to rent. Bloomfield is a charming little town as well. We'll be back! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good spot to spend the night. Ownership is in flux. Mostly unlevel grassy sites with a nice view of a good size lake. (almost lakeside) Much work is needed from sites to restrooms, but for the price and electricity, it is a good deal. Friendly staff. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
