We had a pretty decent stay. My only complaint was the cold water in the shower. Taking a shower on a 45* morning and only having lukewarm water was not pleasant. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a county park. It is on a backwater of the Mississippi River. It is a marina in addition to being a campground. The marina business was very busy during our stay. We stayed in site #65 right on the water. Due to the slow-moving water, there were lots of mosquitoes, so staying outside was a challenge. We wanted to stay in a place right on the Mississippi and we couldn't tell about this place looking at the map. Sites are electric only. There are lots of trees so maneuvering a big rig would be problematic. Bargain price. The showers are a long hike from many of the campsites so we didn't try them. There are pit toilets scattered around and we didn't try them either. In the future, we'd plan a little better and choose another campground. It seemed like mostly locals were staying there. We camped here in a Motorhome.
