Great overnight spot.Pick spot across from Bass Pro Shop, backs up to grass. Dog friendly. Casino food OK. Camping World close, Freightliner next door. We picked spot and then walked to RV Office. Use 29th street entrance. Will stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Camping World is nearby and their staff recommended we stay here for an early morning repair appointment. The registration building is far from the campground and there isn't enough space for a large rig to turn around there. There were only a handful of folks camping here, but the clerk assigned us to the same space he assigned another rig to. We asked for a site between #1 - 10 to be a bit farther from the noisy expressway, but he said all those sites were reserved. There were 4 rigs camped there. No one else came in. He gave us a password for a non-existent internet. This spot is over priced compared to similar casino campgrounds we've enjoyed. But it is close to camping world. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great overnight or couple day stay place. We have no interest in casino or dog racing, but this was convenient to our 48-state tour raising awareness for the Birth 2012 Movement. This was all the convenience we needed. Clean and bright showers and 50-amp service. PILOT travel plaza and Camping World are at same I-80 exit. We'd return, if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Even if you do not gamble, go to the Service desk and ask for a players card and your free coupon book. There are many free meals and "stuff" in it that will more than cover your camping cost. Ask for a spot with a low number (as 1 through 10) otherwise you may be backed up against the freeway. There is no sewer, but dump site attached to laundry, and the restrooms are excellent. The 50 amp power is strong. Water quality excellent with very high pressure. Turn left at 1st light just before the Shell, follow feeder to park on right. Turn immediatly after casino sign into RV registration. Basically you just park in this huge parking lot. We stayed here for 4 nights and won! We camped here in a Motorhome.

To get to the Casino RV Park you should go on I-80 to Exit 1B. Go north on 24th St. to Mid America Dr /24th Ave. Turn Left on Mid America Dr. Drive East on Mid America Dr until you see the large Casino Sign. Turn Right (North) immediately after the sign. This will take you to the Registration Shack. (Looks like a guard shack). The place you will be staying is in the south side of the RV Parking Lot. This is also beside two roadway's, I-80 and a busy roadway beside the south end of the parking lot. This is a new area and as of today you can not see the sites very well in the Google Earth Satellite view. It looks more like a construction area. All of the services are along the outer edges of the RV Parking Lot. They have 50/30/20 Electric and water. No sewer at the sites and no cable. A sewer dump is by the building where the restroom and showers are as you leave. Over the air TV has only 3 channels. Roads into the area are asphalt or concrete. Grass is only on the outside of the curb. Sites are separated by a stripe on the concrete. Sites are about 20ft wide and 50 ft long. We parked our tow vehicle in the main parking lot across the roadway marked on the parking lot. We paid $40 a night due to the Baseball tournament being held. Another way to rip off customers. I have stayed at a few Casino RV parks and this one is not even close to an RV park, just a parking lot with shore services. Unless you really want to spend your money in the casino, I would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

There is no pool or playground, and is is just a corner of a parking lot. No trees or shady spots. It is a great weekend or stopover. They do have laundry that works nice. Friendly staff and June has Saturday night steak/lobster buffet! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Definitely not a destination rv park, but a great layover spot. The pluses are: Late night check in (Security guards handle the registration), very clean bathrooms with large showers and hot, non-stinky water, short walk to Bass Pro Shops w/ onsite restaurant and excellent service. Also walkable to Famous Daves and other retail/restaurants. There is a bit of traffic noise and FYI kids are not allowed to enter the casino complex. A bit pricey for what you get, but there are sometimes when $30 for a clean hot shower sounds like a bargain! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Okay for a few nights but definitely not a destination place. You camp right in the Casino parking lot. Conveniently located right off the highway and near truck stops and Camping World. Good drive-b y security. Water and electric only. Price too high for what you get but we will stay here again while passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Fine for a night or two. All sites are back-in. Electric hook-ups are behind the sites, so make sure you have a long electric cord (ours just made it). Lots of road noise. During rain they run generators to keep the creek level down, which happened to be behind our site. Very loud inside rig. Also during heavy rain, the water in the parking lot was ankle deep, which I had to walk in to take my dog out potty. You can choose your own site, so most people try to keep the rigs spread out a little. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV sites here are actually part of the parking lot. All sites back up to a green belt area. Some road noise, as you are very close to I-80. Plenty of green area to walk your dogs. Sites are kind of tight if you have slides on both sides of your rig, but the staff was nice about not parking us next to someone else. Easy walk to the casino and Bass Pro Shops. Several restaurants in the area. We will stop here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The nicest thing about this park is the restroom facilities. The park is literally a parking lot with water and electric hook ups. We were very disappointed. There was no place to walk our dogs or relax outside. The freeway noise was audible from inside the RV. The registration office is across the parking lot from where you will hook up. All the sites are back in. We will not stay here again. We will travel the extra 10 miles and stay in Omaha. The park was over-priced. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great location. Accessible. Nice shower house with laundry. Campsite narrow, but they are widen by July 31. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

All sites are cement with all roads black top. You get a 1/2 half price off breakfast buffet. Road noise off I-80. No sewer on any site, dump station in center of park. Park is OK for couple days. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Concrete parking lot type cg associated with and convenient to casino. Easily handles 40' 5th and toter. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Only people determined to spend their time in the casino would find this an enjoyable campground. All asphalt, loud shuttle and security vehicles all night, near the interstate and truck stops makes for a lousy nights sleep. We camped here in a camper.

This is an old park (in all respects). The biggest complaint we had was the total lack of any control at the entrance to the campground area. It seems to be a favorite place for the locals to sightsee; motorcycles, cars, and trucks. A simple gate attendant would solve the problem! We were not sure if the “Campground Host” has any duties, but vehicle control could be one of them. The 30 Amp power (the only hookup) was fine and the Verizon aircard worked well. We have no interest in returning to this park – only stopped to visit friends. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We won't be going back. It was so mosquito ridden that we were not able to be outside of the camper at all. Probably due to all of the rain and flooding in 2010. The campground seemed to be the local party grounds. It was quite loud with parties and lots of traffic. Not a good camping experience considering it is a State Park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

You have to drive three miles into the park before you find the camping area. The camping slots are all on gravel. The sites with the best lake access are all "dry camping" sites, and will hold tents or small trailers and campers. The bigger rigs will need to be in the pull-throughs in the center. The sites with the best access to the lake are sites 1-5; and sites 7-17 odd. Sites 19, 20, and 22 also give you lake access, but down a longer path. I would try to avoid getting Sites 1 and 2, as they are right next to the community dumping station. If you decide you really, really, REALLY want an electric site, you may need an extension cord. Two sites share one pole between them. Depending on whether you are on the "correct" side, or the "wrong" side, you may, or may not, need the extension cord. I was glad I happened to have one. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The sites do not have water, you need to fill up at one of the water faucets in the park before you park. The sites do not have sewer, you use the community sewer dump. At this time, you are not allowed to bring in wood from out of state due to a certain bug problem. Campground host was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms weren't the greatest, but at least the showers were free. However, you had to keep pressing the button, as you only get 20 seconds of lukewarm water (I timed it...). Recommend wearing shower shoes. I stayed two nights. Verizon Air Card worked just fine. Park was ok for the price, but nothing spectacular. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are part of a camping club that stayed at this park this past weekend. Most of us will not be returning to this park in the future. It was not a clean and well maintained park at all. We had to listen to people all night with blasting music and loud drunk people. We had issues with loose pit bulls, people flying through the campground, and constant dumpster divers. We watched a group move into a site not yet vacated by the current campers. Then the rangers stepped in and removed the new comers by force. Some of the wives in the group got to watch a man completely undress in broad daylight. We had to chase a couple of guys away from going through someones stuff while they were sleeping at night. I would not suggest this camp group to anyone with small kids or any self respect. The above comment was right on the money. The rangers do nothing to control the campground. And we are also not snobs just people who enjoy camping at a clean friendly campground that doesn't make you feel like you should have something to protect yourself with. Nice camp ground if you like being at a lake and quite setting. A little run down, but clean and nice. Paved roads, large lots to spread out on. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had to stay here because the casino campground is closed. The campsites are located on the lake, with lots of shady sites. There were also lots of "shady" characters camping there, so we set up and stayed inside. A family with at least five kids had a baby crying for hours. The husband took a peek at the bath house, and said it was so filthy he wouldn't set foot in it. The trash bin was filled to overflowing. Several sites were "occupied" by horse trailers (without horses) but no people. We felt this park is like a ghetto, except for three other RVs parked near us. We are not snobs, but we will not return to this park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was not a well maintained park. Staff was oblivious to any problems (mainly unruly dogs at many campsites). Dump station was difficult to access. We chose to go down the road and use the rest stop dump instead of risking a close call with a large tree. Lots of kids, dogs, fires and general confusion. We camped here in a camper.

The rate during prime month has been raised. It is now $16. Rangers seem to spend more time cutting grass than cleaning restrooms. There was a Campground Host in October of 2001. When the showers and flush toilet restrooms are closed the rate returns to $11. Still the most reasonably priced campground around CB. We camped here in a camper.

Like most state parks it is busy during the summer. It is right on the lake and a boat ramp is nearby. There are a lot of big trees and the sites are gravel and level. It is close to Omaha and the riverboat casinos. Major stores are about 3 miles away. There are plenty of good restaurants in Omaha and Council Bluffs. We camped here in a camper.
