Very nice park with a lot of the sites having at least a partial lake view. The roads were wide enough to accommodate larger RV's. The sites are somewhat terraced and seem to become more level farther from the shoreline. Although there was no water on site, the spigots appeared to be spaced good enough so that with a few sections of hose you could refill without moving your RV. The deer were pretty thick within the park and on the area roads in the late afternoon and early mornings so be cautious while driving. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good fishing lake with very clear water. The campground is family friendly and has a playground. The bathrooms are very clean. There is a 7 mile wooded hiking trail around the perimeter of the lake. The park also has a nice swimming beach with a bathhouse, restaurant and boat rental. Many of the sites are not level. If you reserve on the Iowa DNR site it will indicate if the site is level or not. We would go there again. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
