Stayed in Bald Eagle campground in a 40' motorhome. The other campgrounds in park are older treed parks with poor quality roads, gravel sites & 30 amp power. Our campground had few mature trees as it was opened in 2004. Interior roads & sites are blacktop. Each site has concrete pad with table & fire ring/BBQ. Lots of room between sites. Very clean with dumpsters conveniently placed. Sites are long enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Most sites had an attached area for tow vehicle. Utilities are modern and placed toward rear of sites. Playground & plenty of room for children. Since park is close to cities several sites were taken by unoccupied rigs parked for the upcoming weekend. One of the biggest bargains we have found. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent park. Plenty of trails and different things for kids to do. Only 10 miles to Davenport, IA. Firewood can be purchased at the ranger's station. My only complaint was the gates are locked at 10pm. If you come to the Quad Cities for and sporting events, you have to leave early to beat the gate closure. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Scott County Park is about eight miles north of I-80 just off US-61. The park has five different campgrounds with the newest being Bald Eagle. Bald Eagle opened in May of 2004 and has large sites (75x100 approx) with full hookups. asphalt pads with attached concrete pads for the picnic table. Most sites have no shade and a sign stated no tents on grass (I think because of new grass). The other campgrounds in the park range from modern to primitive. We enjoyed the park and would definately stay there again. Outstanding value for $16.00. firewood for sale and each campground has a camp host. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
