This park is nothing special. If you have a big Class A with a toad, keep going to Walmart. OK for a Class C or fifth wheel overnight. I rate harder than most. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice city owned park with boat ramp, playgrounds, volleyball, horseshoe courts, frisbee golf, and picnic areas. Nearly all sites are right on the lake, fairly level, with electric hook-ups and not a lot of shade. Water spigots are near the two shelter houses and the dump station is just outside the park along US 73. (Dump station is not big rig friendly.) Restrooms/showers are very basic and could be cleaner. Verizon air card worked well and we were able to use our satellite: absolutely no TV via antenna. Camping rate is $6/night plus $6 for electricity. There are many seasonal campers here because the rate for the season is $135, but we pretty much had the place to ourselves during the week. Caretaker is very friendly. We will stay here again while visiting family in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
