Lovewell Lake is a 3,000 acre lake in Northern, central Kansas. The camp site is a state recreation area. New restrooms and showers are being built to replace older ones. Most sites are first come, first served but a few are reservable. Good shade in two areas, but one newer area does not yet have much shade. Many sites do not have water. We stayed 2 nights and was pleased with the site. Boating and fishing is very popular at the camp. A marina and small restaurant is available. No other area attractions of major consequence. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
