Fairly typical lake campground. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing overly outstanding, either. I would camp there again, but it isn't worth a special trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nothing wrong with this place. Parked on grass and had water and electric. Wi-Fi was pay if you could get strong enough signal. Would stay there again if in the area We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice campground with shade. Most of the sites are on grassy area and if there is rain it can become muddy. Tthe river does cause problems to those camped near the river, but, local authorities will notify campers to move to higher ground. Some 50 amp. Some hookups on cement. Nice place for groups or families to get together. Busy in August for fair and in Sept. for the Bluegrass Festival that draws thousands to the area. Close to town and restaurants and local businesses. Dump station handy. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
