This campground is nice and serene. However, unless you have a boat there is not much to do in this area. The indoor pool is a blessing but, for young children there is a definite lack of activity. I was disappointed with the upkeep of the campground. There was one trash bin for the entire campground. Since we were there over the July 4th weekend the campground was at maximum capacity and a trailer was brought in to handle the extra trash. However, this did not quench the foul smell of trash which overtook the area in one day. I will not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We enjoyed a nice fall trip to Lake Cumberland with this as our "home base". Owners/family were very nice and we really enjoyed it. The indoor pool was a huge plus - the kids had a ball! We checked out the restrooms and they were super clean. Not a lot of activities, but very nice sized sites and our kids had fun just playing in the field behind our camper! We would definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice park and the owners are very helpful. Park is clean and well managed for a private park. Has storage area for boats and also a driving range. Cable is free and WiFi is very reasonable. Pool is an indoor and heated. Daily-weekly-monthly rates. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
