Why oh why did we stop here? The site was so narrow we could hold a hot dog on a stick out our window and roast it on the neighbor's smoky "fire". Thankfully, they were friendly and tried to talk quietly til about midnight when they retired. There are a few wide sites at one end, and they get progressively narrower along the road. Turns are tight. For us, this reinforced the need to better read RV Park Reviews. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a sad review to write. This park is declining so quickly it is unrecognizable from the days we first camped there in 1972. Sites are nearly unusable, gravel pads are not maintained, weeded over and boarder 4x4s are rotted away or gone. Weeds are abundant, hills and inclines are falling into sites, gravel roads are not maintained and ditches are overflowing with debris. Not a campground I would feel safe in due to condition of facilities and lack of "presence" of park ranger or park representative. They have obviously poured plenty of money into the care of the spillway for fishing but campground has long been forgotten. I cannot recommend this location to anyone other than men camping at fishing tournaments. This just breaks my heart but they should plow this under and start over. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
