We were in the area for my husband to do business and this was the most convenient campground, about 25 miles off I-75. During the week it was very quiet with limited campers in and out. Staff was friendly. The campground sits in the hollow surrounded by eastern Kentucky hills so quite scenic. Several camping trailers were parked on sites for local weekenders, but everything was mowed with pretty flowers and landscaping and nothing looked "permanent". Concrete pads and new septic was just installed so grassy areas are being renovated. Gravel roads through the campground and one section has sites on paved area, others with grass yards. Horse riding and hiking trails and lake nearby for fishing. The area has pavilions for local gatherings and a pool (we did not evaluate). This is a "country" setting about 5 miles from small town with Walmart. Wi-Fi was good in Site 1 where we were but not accessible further in the campground without a booster. AT&T and Sprint phones worked for talk, but limited on data. The entertainment is nature. We would return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
