I stayed for a reduced price in their off season. I was the only camper in the W/E loop, but there were several in FHU area. Level, shady sites overlook several boat mooring buildings and the marina with store, cafe, and restrooms. Looks to be a busy place during summer. Well maintained and everything in working order. I used the on-site laundry. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
U.S. Army Corp of Engineers campground on the Cumberland Reservoir. Newly remodeled sites. For a remote camping experience with boat ramp to the reservoir close by, this campground can provide it. Water and electric only, gravel sites. A dump station is on site, but requires some tight maneuvering to back into position. Roads to campground are narrow, paved, curvy and hilly. Quiet campground, with a host couple on site. Reservoir, with water on 3 sides. There is a newly equipped modern playground and some picnic tables around. But, not a lot of places to hike near the campground. The road out of the campground goes up a long, steep hill. We were visiting nearby relatives whose cabin was 3 miles away. Camped 3 nights. No TV reception. Some cell phones will work, Sprint will not. We camped here in a Motorhome.
