Rate reflects Golden Age discount. We haven’t stayed at this park in a couple of years. They have cleaned out a lot of dead trees and there are more open areas to allow grass to grow. Park is very pretty with moss draped trees all around. Water pressure was good; we used a 55 PSI regulator. Electric was steady, but had a couple of blips during a mild storm. The laundry is free, 2 washers and 2 dryers, all operational. We did not use the restrooms. Sites are electric and water only, there are two dumps. The ranger was very friendly and visible. Other park staff was friendly also. This is a very large park, plenty of room for walking, biking, and hiking; several trails available. The lake itself is not healthy, it is choked up with salvinia and a draw down of the water level is going to occur in August. There is not a beach here however there is a swimming pool on another area of the park. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a wonderful park, mosquitoes where really bad but we enjoyed our 5 day stay despite them. Sites were adequate, AT&T cell worked well. Park Wi-Fi was iffy at times; park was quite at night. We enjoyed our stay and will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

What a wonderful discovery! We have never been in a LA state park before. The park is beautiful and quiet. The most impressive was the ranger. He saw us come in and followed us to our site. He told us that it was really too tight and led us to an easier access prettier site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
