We stayed in this isolated park for four days. Since it's a national park, they accepted our golden access card and only charged us $9.50/night. The pads were blacktopped and fairly level, and the hookups were conveniently located. The roads into the campground were paved all the way from La. Highway 28. We rarely saw a ranger and the park was never over one-half full. The fishing is great. There are sites for swimming and even a fishing pier. There is a dump station located on the road into the park. The city of Alexandria is 19.1 miles away from the campground. We'll definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great NF park. Stayed four days and loved it. The rest rooms had AC, not bad for a NF park. Only negative is there is only one shower in each of the rooms. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice secluded campground. The pads are clean with new electrical panels with 50A, 30A, and 20A outlets. The sites are all shaded. There is a new playground equipped with slides and swings for the kids next to the bath house. There are over 31 miles of hiking trails in the national forest that this campground is in. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
