I was very disappointed. The last time we stayed in Shreveport this place was wonderful. We stayed at a park three miles east of here, unfortunately they were full to capacity so we stayed here: a BIG mistake! The young girl (new manager) was completely lost: she had no idea what we were referring to when we needed 50 amp, etc. The first site we went to: the electric plug was hanging out of the box. The manager said to just plug it in and let it hang there. The site next to it: the plug appeared to be burnt on the left receptacle. I explained to her what that can do to our system. By this time it was getting late so we opted for the 30 amp and adapter. About 10:30 PM the power went out on the entire row, it was around 85 to 90 degrees out. We started our generator, pulled in the slides and headed out for Texas. Now we understand that everyone has to start somewhere on a job. But you should never put someone in a position that is so green they have no idea what they are doing. This place is not an RV Park, it's a long term housing area for local workers. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not sure where to start. We wanted to stay at Tall Pines but they were full (Make sure to get a reservation there). No one was around, the first site we pulled into the electric (50 amp plug) was burnt, no way was I plugging into that, the second site electrical was OK but the trash on the site was terrible. One of the LONG TERM residents came over to assist. They said the manager was rarely around and they didn't pick up the garbage for the last two days that is why it was so bad. We decided to leave and head down the road when Tall pines called and said they had a cancellation. The night turned out to be wonderful after we got set up there. If you are looking for an overnight place, you might want to pass Campers RV by and head else where. It is primarily local workers, no longer a RV Park but a trailer park. (We did not stay in this park) We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were forced to stay here (Tall Pines RV Park was full). This is not an RV Park, it is a Parking lot for long term workers. No one was here at 5:00PM, just a note on the door "Take a space", no information or anything else. Very poorly set up for larger rigs, an this is a RV Dealer. We will not stay here again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We are full timers and have been for 2 1/2 years. We have been to 20 states in that time. And we have NEVER, NEVER had such a rude experience in all the time RVing. All their sites have white concrete curbs along the side of their sites where the sewage is. These blocks are about 8 inches tall. Our 2003 nu-wa 5er has a somewhat lower sewage pipe than most. So we could not hook-up our sewage. When we went in to the office to let them know about our problem the so called Manager was about as rude as any human could be. So we just asked for a refund which she gave us, but not before she made us feel very unwanted and unwelcome. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park appears to be filled mainly with permanent tenants. Sites are crowded and close. Park is next to Interstate 20, so lots of road noise at night. Grass needs to be cut. Pool is clean and so are restrooms. It's ok for an overnight stop but not really set up for camping. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful park. The staff went beyond belief to make sure we were safe during a terrible storm that passed through. The bathrooms were wonderful, the laundry facilities are great. The Wi-Fi worked excellent. Even though this was a very bad storm we never lost power. The sites are spacious: they have metal tables and chairs on a very nice patio. We were planning on staying one night and decided to stay three. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park. The grounds are well manicured, the ground was a little wet (they just received over 6" of rain). The sites were level, Wi-Fi was great end the cable was clear and the power was steady. This is another park that was a KOA and decided to become a Good Sam Park. Good for them! The restrooms are the cleanest we have seen in any park. The owners are very active with the guest. By far the best selection of RV Parts we have seen, very good prices too. We look forward to returning and spending a few days. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our 2nd time here and it just gets better every time. The Fire Fighter memorial is beautiful! The grounds are perfect. During our stay it rained 4" however this did not slow the owners down one bit. They were out helping guests set up. The new Wi-Fi system is very fast, cable TV is great and the bath houses are amazing! It is difficult to understand how such a small staff does such a great job. If you are coming here make sure you get a reservation, they fill up every night to capacity! We really liked the fact that not many children visit here. We will definitely be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an excellent park to stay in: the sites were roomy even for big rigs and the grounds were always well groomed. The owners were friendly and helpful and kept the store well stocked with food items and RV parts. There were some long-term campers here but they were neat and their sites were kept clean. Since it is such a great place to stay: it is best to call ahead if you are coming to area, they tend to stay booked. We will be back again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a great place to stay! Every time we come here it is a pleasure. This time we brought two other travelers with us and they too just loved it. One word of advice, get a reservation prior to arriving. Several RVs pulled in and they were full; they book up very fast. One thing I was very impressed with, staff was able to make arrangements for each of the RVers at other locations, nice of him to take the time to do so (Great Customer Service). This is by far the very best park in Louisiana! The restrooms are amazingly clean, the grounds are very well maintained and the Owners Tom and Tracy are the nicest people you will meet. Wi-Fi was excellent and great Cable TV. of course we will be back again and again, so will our friends. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is no longer a KOA (good for them). The price is excellent, and the place is by far the cleanest we have seen. A family run business. The bath houses are beautiful! Strong Wi-Fi, strong cable TV and wonderful people. The owners have had this place for the past two years, and they have really made a positive change. From the moment you walk into the office and say hello to the time it is ready to depart you are treated as if you are the one and only customer (and they were at 100% capacity). I highly recommend that you get a reservation two to three days in advance; they fill up very quickly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean, wonderful staff. The grounds are well manicured. We were here for 3 days. The bathrooms were by far the cleanest we have seen. The new laundry room equipment is great. As with the other comments, nice touch with the Fireman's Tribute. Great Job! We wish Tracy a fast recovery, our prayers are with her. We will definitely be back We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our 4th time here. Each time it get better! The bathrooms/bath houses are by far the cleanest in any park we have been to (that is over 100 parks). As usual Tom is out manicuring the beautiful grounds while Tracy is running the office. You would think a property this big there would be a number of staff members, but there are only three, a part time maintenance man that is wonderful. This is a true RV Park, very consistent, the nicest people you can meet. While we were there a couple had trouble with their slid out. Tom went over there and was able to fix it. He refused to accept anything for the assistance so the guest bought a bunch of stuff in the store. I asked him why he helped them, he stated "It is the right thing to do". You just don't don't see that much any more. My wife and I really do enjoy staying here. The only problem that we have discovered is they fill up every night to capacity, you have to get a reservation before arriving to assure you a site. I guess we are not the only ones that enjoy staying here. By the way the Firefighter Memorial is very nice, peaceful as it should be. I would give this place a 100 if I could. And yes I will be back!!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Now this is what an RV Park should look like! It is beautiful! The bright yellow blocks and the well manicured grass is great. The staff is beyond great. I told them we tried to get in last night but they were full, Tom apologized and gave us a wonderful bottle of wine. The bathrooms were the cleanest Public room that I have ever seen! The night security stopped by and chatted with us while we sipped on our wine.The Wi-FI worked excellent and the Cable TV was crystal clear. The next morning we enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee. We were staying on night and decided to stay three! The Fire Fighter Memorial is awesome. While we were there two fire engines pulled up, turned on the RED lights, got out, walked over to the Memorial. All bowed their heads and said the Fire Fighters Prayer. My wife and I was so touched. WHAT A CLASSY PLACE! Thank you Tom and Tracy for a wonderful experience! We will be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Well managed small and quiet park. Close to major highways and town. The owners are very helpful and delightful. Pull-thru sites are long enough for a big rig with toad. But if you have a door located forward, you will need to exit and enter from the grass area. Not a problem if dry. We found if we backed far enough to locate the door over the patio area, our electric cable could not reach the source. We are self contained and did not use the showers or baths. Overall impression is very good. We would certainly stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful and comfortable park. It's in a convenient location west of Shreveport, convenient to I-20 but far enough away to be quiet. The property has many beautiful tall pine trees primarily around the edge of the park, providing nice shade to the back-in sites. There are smaller trees on many of the pull-thru sites in the middle of the park. If you have roof top satellite, it should work in the pull-thru sites. The sites are very long and wide with grass in between. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful and maintain the park to a high level. The restrooms are some of the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen. We did not use the pool but it was very appealing and clean. The cable TV had a good signal and many channels. The Wi-Fi worked most of the time but did tend to drop out several times a day for brief periods. The laundry room appears to be too small for the number of sites. The primary work that could improve the park would be to add more and longer concrete pads. Most of the sites are grass and gravel. Also, some of the roads need paving or re-paving. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our second stay in three years. I thought that it had lost just a little bit of snap without the KOA services. Never-the-less it’s a good solid campground, quiet and secure,and we’d certainly stay here the next time through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is the absolute best RV Park. We arrived after the office was closed but were met by the owners. We travel on motorcycles and the owners are motorcycle friendly. Bathrooms, showers and store were very clean. The grounds were clean and no trash anywhere. The next day when we got ready to leave, we had a mechanical problem with one bike. The owners offered to trailer our bike home for us and to let us use his vehicle to go get something to eat. We had to wait 6 hours for some one from home to come get us. There was no extra charge for staying past check out time. I will certainly stay here again if we are in the area. The owners are the greatest! Thanks for turning a bad situation into a good time. Everyone was very friendly including other campers. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

I need to tell you all that I DID NOT STAY HERE...but I spoke to a young lady on the phone, I found her polite, professional and having the answers that I need. It is apparent that this is 'home' to a lot of folks since when I called they had one site left for my use, they said they will hold it for a time...didn't have to do that over the phone with no deposit..I do hope this is where we will get to travel to next!!! We were pleased with Tall Pines in July of last year when KOA was still involved. During our recent visit in April, we were greatly disappointed. We were refused access to stay because of the lady telling us four people to camp site. Well your website says six. I personally didn't like the fact that Tall Pines is not kid friendly. My mom and dad wanted to stay with 3 kids and were told no. The lady was friendly about it but still. An RV Park is for children too! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A delightful place to stay. We popped in for one night and found excellent washrooms, wrought iron tables and chairs, very nicely painted at each site. It was raining the entire time, but the campground couldn't have been better. They had recently changed from KOA. Not difficult to find. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. This is a beautiful RV Park. It has left the KOA brand, and is now Tall Pines RV Park. Congratulations. The bath houses are extremely clean, staff is wonderful. The park is geared to the mature RV'ers, the owners make sure it maintains a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The site patio's and the metal table and chairs are a wonderful touch. It was nice to enjoy a quiet evening with no children running around. Great job, we will be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very beautiful with towering pines trees surrounding it and definitely lives up to its name. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and kept that way all day and night. The spaces are far enough apart as to give you a small yard between you and your neighbor. The park is very peaceful and well maintained. The owners and staff are very friendly and very helpful when problems arise with your RV. The park has an RV parts store and carries the types of supplies most commonly needed. The park also has a nice store offering basic food and snack needs and souvineers representing your visit to Louisiana. The Cabins are primitive but very comfortabel and do offer heat and air conditioning as well as TV with cable. I had a relative who stayed in the cabin and bragged about the comfort of the beds as was evidenced by her long naps and late morning wake ups. The sites have nice grass and are divided up between being paved at some and graveled at others. The park is large enough to take pleasent walks in and has a small pond in a scenic setting. Onsite is also a newly remodeled Rec hall set aside for use by large parties of camper groups. The grounds also contain picnic areas, BBQ areas and nice adult swings to relax on. The park maintains an age restrictive policy and is a pleasent place for adults to come for a relaxing stay without the hassell of loud children running loose and unsupervised. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We're very happy with this RV park! It's older, but ultra-clean and well-maintained. The owners have removed the ugly red-and-yellow (you know what) decor, and the camp now fits into the scenery. The office staff is friendly and efficient, the Wi-Fi is sure and steady, there's lots of cable TV channels and the water pressure is "just right". Our site is very spacious for our 38' foot fifth wheel and truck (PLUS our extra car!) We even have a nice concrete patio and patio table and chairs. (Smaller sites have picnic tables.) This used to be the Shreveport-Bossier City KOA. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice friendly clean campground, convenient to I-20 and to the Shreveport area. Owners are friendly & pleasant, and they still have their RV parts section of the store, which is more adequately stocked than the food (at least at this time of year). Lots of long term campers here, but they're quiet. Our site was level enough and had a nice little concrete patio & an iron table & chairs. Even without our own shade tree, the trees along the western edge of the campground made late afternoon shady for us. Very clean bathroom facilities. This campground is becoming a non-KOA next month, and will be known as the Tall Pines RV Park. Sounds like the owners plan to maintain their standards and continue to include such extras as Wi-fi in the rates. This is our second time at this park and we would stay again if in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Only stayed overnight, but these folks were just great! They went out of their way to make room for us among the many evacuees fleeing hurricane Ike. The campground was spotless. All utilities worked very well. Sites were spacious and easy to get into and out of. You just can't beat this kind of hospitality. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Only thing i didn't like was the hot tub and it was more of a personal type you would have at home for your personal use, not in a commercial campground. This is undoubtedly one of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed in. The owners go out of their way to make sure that your experience with them is outstanding - and ours was. No detail was missed. Nice clean campground. Easy check-in and everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a pull through site with a concrete pad. Our site was nice and level. Good TV, WiFi and all hookups worked fine. The road noise (we were up front) was kind of annoying, especially in the middle of the night when everything else is quiet. A site in the back of the CG probably would fix that. Nice place to take a walk at the back of the CG with a small pond. Very peaceful. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our only complaint was that our concrete patio didn't fit our camper, so our door steps let down into a small mushy grassy area. The free cable TV was a nice addition and the staff was super nice. This park is under new ownership. The owner is soon going to rename it Tall Pines because KOA is insisting on rate hikes that he doesn't want to impose on his guests. He goes 100% of the way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need, includng Wi-Fi, for which he does not charge. The park is wonderfully located, clean, neat, and exceptionally well run. I recommend it highly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean bathrooms and the sites were larger than a typical KOA. The "hot tub" sites were great and Wi-Fi was very good. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really liked this park. Appearance is that of a typical KOA, but sites are spaced well enough that slideouts and most awnings can be used, and some sites have nice concrete patios, swings, etc. Main drawback is the lack of campfires, and some road noise near the front of the campground. Owners are wonderful - very friendly & helpful. Nice store, with plenty of attractive gifts, and probably the best RV parts store of any campground we've ever seen! Owners have been putting a lot into this campground to upgrade and update facilities. Bathrooms very clean & nice. Biggest pleasant surprise: cable TV provided - TV too! - in the cabins! Wow - waking up to the Weather Channel! Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Campground Cabin.

Park is organized and hosts were very accommodating. I did not rate it higher as our site was grassy, and since it was a VERY rainy day, was completely flooded. We tried 3 sites before finally taking this one, and still thought we might float away :-). There was a pool and spa. Site was very wide and park is easy to get in and out of. A lot of road noise if you are situated near the entrance. Probably would stay again if I needed an overnight stop in the area as it was clean and might well be best choice in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Decent overnight place. A little pricey for a gravel park with not much to do. If you are not into gaming, probably the best park in Shreveport, which isn't saying awhole lot. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are new to RV'ing, and weren't sure what to expect. This is a great campsite and RV park. The grounds are well kept. The owners are organized, and very friendly and helpful. Level lots with paved patios and nice patio furniture. The bathrooms are immaculate! The pool area is kept well. There are some confusing signs; 2 different pool signs gave 2 different open hours, "no wet clothes in bathroom", but you must shower before entering pool.... Nice play area for kids. Nice dog walk area. Quiet residents. The park is easy access to highway, but you don't get highway noise. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Typical KOA. Clean, no surprises. The cable amounted to 3 or 4 channels, don't know what was wrong. Pretty quiet place. Paved pad to park on. Restrooms very nice and clean. Nice spot for one night and some sleep. It's why I use KOA's on a road trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A typical KOA, it is located near I-20 but is relatively quiet, with a helpful staff. The Park is close to Gators and friends, Campers RV Center, and Watertown swim park. This is the nicest park in the Shreveport area, but, really not a very good value for the money. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We first stayed here about a year ago. It was nice then and still is. The staff was friendly and very accommodating when we had to change our plans at the last minute. Sites were either gravel or paved. Many had patios and a table. Their cable and free Wifi were both very good. There was some noise from the nearby road, but with the A/C on it did not bother us. I feel sure we will stay here again and would recommend it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Grassy pull thru sites. Entrance and exit were easy to navigate. Restrooms and launder facilities were clean. Park staff were friendly. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is the best KOA my wife and I have been to. The staff was extremely helpful, we arrived and it was raining. Tom took us to our site and actually hooked everything up. All we had to do was put our jacks down and the slides out. He recommended a fantastic restaurant (Beccas), and because we were staying at the KOA we actually received VIP treatment at the restaurant. The bathrooms were immaculate, the store was wonderful. We will be back!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Really nice park with easy access to the interstate, but without the noise. Run by a friendly couple who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Facilities are spotless. Unlike a lot of places where they claim to have functional WiFi, it really does work well here and the owners take pride in offering a system that works throughout the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff. Had tow vehicle problems and the staff went out of their way to help. Planned on a one night stay. Once problems occurred, the staff automatically held a site for me as long as I needed. They then found a repair facility and gave good directions. We were back on the road, fiver in tow, within a couple of hours. Did not see much of the park but what I saw was neat and clean. Staff talked with my wife and played with my children while I was out for repairs. They even let my children "help build" some new attractions to the playground. Will stay again for stop-over on longer trips. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here on the way to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl. The staff here could not be friendlier. Only complaint was the area was wet from recent rains and it was hard to keep sand/mud from being tracked in.All sites were concrete with grassy areas and picnic tables. This area is close to grocery stores and restaurants and we will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice KOA--much better than we expected. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we needed to stay 2 extra nights due to bad weather. Many sites are gravel and grass, but some are concrete with a patio and wrought iron furniture. There was some road noise, but it did not keep us awake at night. The wifi was good and they had a bunch of cable stations. There appeared to be some permanent residents, but their sites were well kept. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a clean, well kept up park. Long term residents are on the outer side streets of the park and overnighters mostly were in the center as you come in. It had some sites with concrete slabs and upgraded tables and chairs. Wireless internet was available from the site free. We stayed two nights on a trip out west and one night on the way back home. That answers if I would stay there again. We had seen the Diamond Jacks Casino campground in nearby Bossier City and almost stayed there but we thought this was a better campground. They had some really nice premium sites with gas grills and jacuzzis in the back, but a little pricey. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The park is quiet and clean. There is a hot tub. Our site had a concrete pad. There is a play area for kids and a small fishing pond. Cell phone reception was good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was one of the better KOAs that we've stayed at. We were there for 3 months & the management made us feel very welcome with BBQs & pool parties. There are some seasonals but their sites were kept pretty clean. The weather gets a little intense when a thunderstorm rolls through but the camp sits on a knoll & the water runs out to the street. I loved the 24 hour laundry room. Would definately return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our overnight. The pool was excellent as was the store and the staff. The owners have worked hard to make the place pleasant and functional. Some road work needed. The place is fairly hard to find. Needs bigger sign. We would stay here again happily. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice place to sit for a bit. The sites are relatively large with cement pads and plenty of grass (mucky when wet). However, they tend to be uneven and sharp to get into. If you happen to go down the wrong way you can expect to damage your rig. The management and staff were super friendly and the facilities were clean. The rates are a little pricey but typical for KOA. We checked out other RV parks in the area and this was definately the nicest, cleanest and safest feeling. We'd go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good enough for overnight stay. Uneven gravel sites, scruffy lawn, but "Big Rig" OK. Trees
not a problem. Not a fancy place (especially the "super sites" in the back). I'll give it a solid "7". Stayed here Oct. '04 with 42' motor home with toad. Friendly staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Never imagined giving a KOA a 9 but with new owners, new caring managers, instant phones and clean neat sites I had to look twice just to make sure we were at a KOA. The managers made it a point to come by and check on guests they had missed meeting at check-in and to insist that any problems be brought to
their attention. AMAZING! We camped here in a camper.
