This is one of the worst places we have ever camped. They say it is on the river, but what they should say is that it is on Hwy 2 and so close you cannot escape the noise all day and most of the night. There is some kind of quarry across the road and the big trucks go constantly. The bathrooms are old and outdated. You can only get WiFi in the office. The camper in the next site was so close you could not walk between our slides. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Small campground operated by business catering to canoes and kayak trips. Located along river. Restrooms and shower facilities are fair, but staff does try to keep them clean. Couldn't get Wi-Fi signal. Sites are small. Staff friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have visited this campground four times in the past five years and love every minute of our stay. The owners make the guests feel like family and that is really comforting after a long trip. The office staff and the drivers, boat staff, and various instructors available for the different activities are extremely knowledgeable about their duties. The facilities were always well kept and the gardens were really beautiful. I have and will again highly recommend this location for either groups, or family visits and my wife and I will return as often as is possible. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
