This is a nice municipal park in town run by volunteers with tender loving care. We arrived in early spring before the formal opening in late May but we were welcomed by a volunteer who rushed right over to help us. There was still snow in the campground. There is no charge to camp when the water is off. We got free tap water to fill our tank at the city shop a few blocks at the railway plus there is drinking water available by the jug at a private 24 hour water store next to the town Esso for $3 for 5 gallons. There is a sani dump just outside of the campground. Campground has variable sites, from nice flat and wide to narrow and slanted. Campground is in the bend of a small river/large creek near the mouth of the Souris and is also next to a large lovely park and bird sanctuary. There is a huge outdoor pool with watersides adjacent to the campground (not open during our stay) and several playgrounds for kids in and near the campground. There are many mature trees which meant we could barely navigate with our pick up and 28 RV but we did get into a perfect site backing onto the river. Would be impossible for a big rig. Souris is most famous for it's distinctive swinging bridge and you can easily walk from the campground to the bridge by following the creek. We loved it and we will come again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
