Had outstanding trip. The sites are huge and the workers are nice. Great fishing in the lake. The campers in the park were nice as well. Only two complaints, No shade (new park take time to grow) and lots of flys that bite. I would go back again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We will never camp here again. We have been campers for over 18 years and have camped in many campgrounds in Maryland. The owner is a rude man. We were given incorrect information regarding "late stay" from the office. Originally told $20 to stay late and they took the 20$ and later being told the cost to stay late is a whole extra night ! I explained that to the owner and asked him if he kept the $20 extra that I had already paid and we would be out in about an hour, so we would only have been about 1 1/2 hours later then regular check out time. I thought I was being more than fair since I was given incorrect information from his employees. He said that was fine. About 30 minutes later the owner is at our camper rudely yelling at me that I said we would be out in 10 minutes. I don't know anyone who could be packed up and out in 10 minutes! I tried to explain that I said 1 hour not 10 min. He asked why the kids were playing football if we were packing up. I again tried to explain that they had done all they could to help us pack and that they were occupying themselves while my husband and I finished up. He continued to yell at me with the reddest face I have ever seen. I informed this rude man that we would never camp there again and believe me we won't. It's a shame that businessman would conduct himself in such a manner and ruin his campground's reputation. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Checked out their web site and found a rate increase for the 2007 year. For a family of 4 water front is $ 75.00. Note not all water front sites have access to the water. Swimming pool is not open the full camping season. This place is just too expensive. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice, and quiet campground. The sites are huge and big rig friendly. We camped here several times this year and although this place is quite expensive, it is well managed and owners do not tolerate people that can not follow simple rules. The fishing is fantastic ( catch and release ) Just make sure if you bring a pet, that you have proof of vaccinations. This place is ideal for quality family time, the way camping is supposed to be. If you are looking for a place that has arcades etc for the kids than this place is not for you. Close to Assateague and Ocean City. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Beautiful new park. Sites surround man made lake. Large sites for a campground in this area. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Only complaints are no cable TV and lack of restrooms. If you need restrooms, stay close to the office. Near the office is a large restroom/bathhouse. The rest of the campground only has two male and two female single user bathrooms. Also, the sites around the lake are very nice, but I'm not sure they are worth the $20 premium over the sites across the street. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very new campground and we decided to give it a try. The management and staff were friendly and helpful. What we found was a very nice place with great potential. Being new, it's still a little rough around the edges. There was only one playground and it was quite a distance from most sites. The pool is brand new and very inviting, a long walk to it also. The camp store was what you would expect, nothing extraordinary, again a long walk. The reason for the distance to these things is that this campground has a linear layout around the shore of a nice fishing (catch and release) lake. Almost all of the sites in this campground backed to this lake and it made for a nice view. The site we had (#25) was one of the smallest they offered and it was huge! All of the sites were very level and consisted of a good layer of small packed stones. We really liked this campground. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Ocean City to make pleasurable but not so far that it wasn't an easy drive. It's also very near one of our favorite parks, Assateague Island National Seashore. We look forward to our next visit. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Our group was here in May. This is a new camp ground and the owners have done a great job so far. Bath houses are clean and bright though they could use a few more. Most sites are level and have black gravel to park on. It's nice and quiet less the wild life all around. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful, their working on getting cable TV. Little shade but are planting more trees. They have some cabins too! We will be back again in October. We camped here in a Motorhome.
