This place looks like it has finally closed as suggested in a 2004 post. Although it was open last year, all rigs are cleaned off from the premises and the web site telephone number is "no longer in service". Make way for some condo's! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just an FYI - This campground has been sold to developers and will not be open to campers after the 2004 season (Oct 12, 2004). We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a family type campground with lots of kids & lots of activities for kids. If you don't have kids, it's just plain noisy. Overnighters are next to a busy highway and the "pull-thru" sites are very tight & difficult to manuever. Plus the sites are anything but level. And our levelers sank into the muck during the rains. Most, but not all, of the employees are friendly, but not real helpful. I noticed a 40 footer having difficulty exiting. I helped them out by moving fire rings, picnic tables & stop signs so that they wouldn't dent or scrape their rig. The office help came out, yelled at them for going the wrong way, then scurried back into the office. The park has a lot of potential, but we won't be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
