Tons of stuff for the kids. We were there on a weekend and there was stuff scheduled on the hour for the kids. All of the activity stuff was in one recreation area so I wasn't chasing my kids all over the camp ground. It was nice. We didn't golf, but I would have liked to. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Tyler Creek was great with kids. We have 2 small ones and the activities (pool, bounce house, crafts) kept them entertained. Having the golf course is the biggest plus. We were able to play both days we were there. We plan on returning again this year (2007). We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Relatively close to SE Grand Rapids area (which has few sites for city of its size). Campground is part of an 18 hole golf course and, as such, is sort of scenic. However, camping is not their main business and it shows. Most sites are seasonal. Remainder are pull thrus. Not real level. We've been there several times with 40' 5th and toter. Thankfully it wasn't that busy and we were able to "slop" over on adjacent site. They have 4x4 site # posts at the head of each site making it extremely difficult to get in and out. The posts do pull up easily though and the firm ground allows you to replace the post in the hole once you are out. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
