This is a concessionaire operated campground within the Hiawatha National Forest on the Upper Peninsula. Considered "primitive" but sites are nice, private with lots of room. Water pump available at entrance. Vault toilets, no showers. Toilets are very clean and kept that way by the camp hosts. Whole park very clean, no trash seen. Lake front sites available, some with access to launch kayak or tie up boat near your site. Firewood for sale at camp host site or can use the "down and dead" rule. Generators allowed but not after 10pm. Paved road. All sites are shaded as you are in the forest. Very relaxing. Fishing in lake allowed but need license. Fire rings at all sites. Camped here for 4 weeks. Will go back there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
