I just love this campground. We didn't stay last year and I really felt like my summer wasn't complete. The owner reminds me of my dad and he even helps me park my camper when it is just the kids and me. It is small enough to feel safe and quiet enough to make me happy. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The park is very nice, quiet and has quite a few trees. The sites are a good size, and the rules are very typical. My kids really enjoyed swimming in the small lake and fishing. The kids each caught about 5 small fish. The only disappointing area was the landing on the river for river-tubing, it was very mucky and overgrown. The campground also has a "train" ride each day that gives you a nice tour of the grounds. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park has been owned by the same very nice people for over 30 years. The sites are grassy and shaded, but they were able to give us a site where our Internet Satellite dish could be pointed. There is a small beach on a pond where kids were swimming. There are lots of rules, but they tell you the rationale behind them, and it is clear that the rules are there to help the park work well. These people really care about their park and their customers. The park is very convenient to Grand Rapids and only a mile from the beautiful White Pine Trail, a 100+ mile, partially paved Rails to Trails bicycle path. We camped here in a Motorhome.
