I have stayed at many campgrounds throughout the US and this one has got to be the worst I have stayed at. Its located on the Grand River and is surrounded by swamp and algea filled holes that are meant to pass as fishing ponds, but really are just breeding grounds for mosquitoes which swarm relentlessly ( I have never seen so many!!!). The roads are gravel and are a mixture of dust and mud and pot holes. ( If you have a nice vehicle don't bring it here ). The one bathhouse they have avaible stinks of sewage because of pour ventilation and has showers with sticks you have to hold down to turn on the water. If you let go the water turns off. And there is no parking so you have to walk from your campsite to the bathhouse. If your looking for a enjoyable vacation I would not recommend this place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The campground is conveniently close to Grand Rapids. The campground roads are very rough and in poor condition. There is limited parking at the check-in area. The "lake" is actually a pond, and while there is a small beach area the water is not what we consider suitable for swimming in. There is free Wi-fi and it worked well. The owners escort you to your site and give you directions while you back in. The owners are friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I just love this campground. We didn't stay last year and I really felt like my summer wasn't complete. The owner reminds me of my dad and he even helps me park my camper when it is just the kids and me. It is small enough to feel safe and quiet enough to make me happy. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
