Nice clean friendly park. Roads are all dirt and sites are grassy and (mostly) level. Quite a few seasonal local campers here and were very friendly. The campground is right on the beach which is a decent size. Very rocky so bring beach shoes if you intend to use the lake. Showers/bathrooms were always being cleaned. There is no adjustment to the water temp but it was fine. Older bath houses could use some updating but actually prefered them to the newer bath house. Would definitely camp here again. We enjoyed this campground much more than the newer campground just up the road! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Overall I would say this is a nice park. It is not glamorous or resort-like by any means, but it is located right on Lake Huron with a large beach, a nice large playground, and a well stocked camp store with ice cream. There is also wheelchair/stroller access down to the beach, which was really nice. We had a nice shaded site that was level and partially grassy. We were happy to have a 30 amp electric hookup and a water hookup, but there are no sewer hookups, so we had to utilize the dumping station as we left. We camped here the weekend after most schools got out for the summer and were afraid it would be over-run with kids, but it was so nice and relatively quiet. We were very pleased, and would definitely go back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
