Felt welcome here. Boat ramp could be better. Water access is great. Owner accommodating for handicapped spouse. Campground worn. Laundry, shower, bathroom facilities updated and clean. If back in Michigan I would come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If you enjoy a very "Campy" atmosphere, this is for you. It is aptly named, located in an old pine forest. Narrow, dirt roads, no paved sites, very little grass, minimal sunshine. Dark, shady park. Tiny campsites, crowded together. Lots of older, seasonal trailers. The entry drive is deceptively modern, sunny and blacktop. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Gorgeous scenery and lovely towns. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
