Stayed 10 days for deer season. No water or sewer, electric only. The showers were warm and the water hot. Roads are paved; a few sites are paved, most are either gravel or grass. There are two or three sites with sewer. The City of Gladwin has Wi-Fi, but we were not able to pick it up in the campground; it is much lower than the surrounding neighborhood. If there is a lot of rain, it can flood. But the wind is blocked. There is an upper section with pull-through sites. There was only one employee, the manager, very helpful. In the lower section Sprint cell and MiFi worked; roof top satellite did not, blocked by trees; picked up 3 local TV channels on antenna. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice city park with basic camping. Lots for kids and adults alike to do. Nice small river runs through it with a small beach for wading. New and very nice restroom building has been added in addition to older but OK restroom shower combo. Lots of shade but still has lots of grass. Very nice staff and they were out all day cleaning and picking up. Only 30 amp but power was good. We will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
City run park and campground on Gladwin River with two separate camping areas. We stayed in the back section, which is spacious and shaded for back sites. Pull through sites are spacious but little shade. The front section sites are packed more closely but seem acceptable. Has park with playground for kids and beach on river. Swimming area is shallow for the most part with a deeper hole for adults. Showers are clean and located in the middle between booth camping areas. Staff is friendly with the Sheriff and Police department located at the entrance to the park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
