This is a great little park. We were northbound on Michigan 127 looking for a place to stay and found it in the directory. (There aren't many RV parks around there.) The campground is right on a small lake, with a swimming beach and clear water. Our site was only about 50 feet from the beach! Also a nice and well kept playground. The resident manager could not have been friendlier. Quite a few seasonal occupants, but there were plenty of sites available. Restrooms and showers aren't fancy, but clean and well equipped. We only stayed one night, but with the beach and playground it would be a relaxing place to spend a few days. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a nice park with activities for the whole family. Many seasonal trailers here. Most of the people were friendly. The park owners were extremely friendly. Being a gay couple we don't always experience friendliness, but we would definitely camp here again. No cable tv, but we were able to get three local stations with rabbit ears. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
We stayed here twice this year, both times in mid October. The hosts were outstanding. The showers were extremely hot. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Have a water trampoline with a beautful lake that has canoe and paddle boat rentals at the campground. Area state land near by for excellent hunting or hiking. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
At first sight the campground doesn't seem like much. The interior lots are small and most, if not all, are rented seasonally. We stayed on L9 and L8 next to the gazebo right on the swimming beach. We absolutely loved it and will come back! The sites on the beach are all partly shaded. HUGE PLUS - They are covered with a nice carpet of grass!! The lots are small and not very private, however, camping right on the swimming beach with our 3 small children was such a treat that it FAR outweighed any negatives in the campground ! Our kids woke up, ate breakfast and swam all day. I have never had such a relaxing camping trip! We even sat at our campfire after dinner and watched the kids get in a little more swimming! Other pluses - SUPER FRIENDLY owners, a small camp store with wood, ice, milk, other essentials in case you forgot, like toothpaste, sunblock, etc. Cute little playground and hot, clean showers. Leave your sidewalk chalk at home - the road is gravel. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
This campground is located on Lake Earl. It's 35 acres with fishing and a nice swimming area, very clear clean water. The owners are very friendly and accommodating; it rained real hard one night and they opened the community bldg for us to stay in as our tent was getting wet. Nice shaded areas, large grassy lots, lake lots are wide and nice view. Bathrooms were very clean with great hot water. There is a Bean Bag Toss court and they have tournaments here on holiday weekends. Great family oriented camp. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
