The sites on the lake are wonderful. Bring your swimming shoes for the lake because it is quite rocky for the first 10 feet getting into the swimming area. This state park seems to be about 20-30 miles from a grocery store but they do have ice to purchase if you bring a cooler along with your extra supplies. They also have a ban on bringing wood into the park so you can buy a bundle of scrap wood for $4 but it doesn't last very long. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground with beach on Lake Gogebic. Get your supplies before you get there because it is a ways into town. Fairly level sites for easy setup. Excellent facilities. Oganized activities for the kids during summer. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
