We stayed here during the Jeep Blessing. Large lots, bring longer hookup connections. The staff was very nice and the view was great, right on the water (this would be a nice stay during the fall color tour). We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We've stayed at this campground a few times during mushroom picking season. It's nice because you can camp right on the lake and fish at your campsite. We don't do much fishing during mushroom season because we're not a camp much. But it's a nice, quiet campground with friendly staff. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We were amazed at the huge waterfront sites. There were quite a few waterfront sites, and off the water sites were nice too. There are lots of trees and a picture postcard view that is unbelievable. It looks like a lake, but it is actually the backwaters of a river. There is canoeing on the river, with two canoe liveries on two different rivers in the area, so we did go canoeing while we were here through some very wild and beautiful areas. There is a small camp store, fish cleaning stations, and beautiful areas for bike riding and paved roads. Also a small camp store. There are NO organized activities and NO recreation/game room for rain days. Nice big fire rings. Swimming area is a little rocky, but not full of plants and yukky stuff. There is also a Rustic campgound that we did not check out. We camped here in a Tent.
