We stayed for two nights. The owners are fairly new but the park is not. There is a lot of needed upkeep to the sites and buildings as they seem to have been let go in anticipation of the sale. The owners are pleasant. The park is OK if you use it only for an overnight stop or a base for activities as we did. You really do not have many options in this part of Michigan as it is far from major thoroughfares. The park has promise if the owners spend the time and money to bring the place up to what it could be. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a pleasant park with immense sites, mostly wooded, but some open. It is on the Ausable River, with some nice view sites. The management were very pleasant to us. Overall we were satisfied with this park even though it did not have sewer hookups. Generally, it was clean, quiet and inexpensive. We would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
